Jonah Hex: Two-Gun Mojo
Carson Rivera
Tyler Bailey
Isaiah Wood
Isn’t he racist? I mean he was on the wrong army
Angel Reed
Jonah is drawn with a Colt 1851 Navy but I believe it's implied later he's supposed to have a LeMat revolver
Colton Lee
John Mitchell
More misanthropic
He beats the shit out of a racist in this issue though
Ayden Adams
Lucas Turner
hell yeah Tim Truman
Eli Johnson
Kevin Bennett
Cooper Morales
Kevin Parker
Robert Jones
Daniel Flores
Elijah Kelly
Christopher Morris
Matthew Sullivan
I dug these minis even though they inadvertently led to that shitty movie
Kevin Hall
Easton Murphy
A LOT of things lead to that shitty movie
Hudson Ross
Well look at that. A Vertigo comic with interior art as good as the cover. There is a first time for everything I guess.
Alexander Martinez
Nolan Sanchez
It's more common for projects like this that are just five issues and clearly a passion project between a writer and artist
Owen Gutierrez
Brandon Gutierrez
Evan Johnson
William Williams
Blake Gomez
>they inadvertently led to that shitty m
huh?
Levi Martin
Ethan Hughes
Kevin Cox
Aaron Cox
Jace Bailey
Josiah Adams
The original script for the movie was based heavily on these comics
Juan Martin
these minis were notable in that
>they were the first time that Jonah faced actually-supernatural things because the writer misinterpreted stuff he had read as young man
>DC got sued by twin albino blues-musicians for two albino twins with similar names in this who were cannibals
Nicholas Butler
David Allen
Luis Hill
John Mitchell
Parker Cox
Ryder Ortiz
Hudson Rodriguez
Brayden Anderson
Gavin Edwards
Josh Brolin:
>I remember when I was talking to Warner Bros. about doing that movie, ‘High Plains Drifter’ is what I put on the TV, I said, ‘That’s what I wanna do.’ I would do that movie still. If I ever had the balls to spend $5 million, which I don’t, I would do that movie, ’cause that’s the version of that movie that would have been successful, for sure. And it didn’t need to cost anything more than $8-$10 million.
I wonder if he'd reconsider now that he has Big Purple Meme Man money
Christopher Carter
Truman is great. wonder if DC could get him back for a Hex black label...i know he's busy with Scout but who knows when thats coming out
Anthony Bennett
Jayden Wilson
That would be a GREAT idea but it doesn't involve the Joker so it's already got some hurdles to cross
Christopher Campbell
Blake Murphy
Shoulda went with the original scrip then
Colton Richardson
Lincoln Jones
This was the wierdest shit when I first found it on read comic. Hex was more talkative, red headed, facing supernatural shit, and all in all it felt like a b movie action script. Hell of a ride.
Landon Campbell
Well I guess I shouldn't say "heavily" since we don't know what extent other than it was gonna be supernatural + Western
Connor Watson
Hudson Brooks
Elijah Rivera
Mason Myers
hex had red hair in the og stuff at least
Colton Morris
Xavier Parker
Jonah Hex has to track down a wanted criminal...turns out to be Joker's great grandfather.
Christopher Wood
Hex was a lot more chatty in the Bronze Age too. What I do like about this one is it doesn't go full supernatural until the end, and even then aside from Wild Bill Hicock it could be weird HG Wells-esque science
Michael Cooper
Hex cracks lot more jokes in these stories than Im used to. Its a nice change of pace of Hex along with the supernatural stuff.
I wouldn't want this to be the MAIN style of Hex but its nice to mix it up
John Harris
You know what, I'm positive that's gonna happen at some point
Carson Diaz
that's getting two close to what Graymiotti did in the New 52 All-Star Western
Logan Cruz
Doesn't Black Label have The Question and that fantasy comic and Hellblazer?
Chase Torres
