Goofy shatters the sound barrier in kh1, and ill prove it

after measuring a tile I did a simple grid, and pinpointed goofy and rikus position on the carpet using the red decoration and curved lines as reference. I did the same for the dark firaga's, start, end, and collision with goofys shield.

Dark firagas speed is slowed down in the cutscene as evident by rikus clothes. Thankfully the kh team programmed your fire spell, and rikus dark firaga (in his possesed fight) to have the same speed, I confirmed this using a frame by frame of each spell.
I couldve chosen a better spot for measuring firagas speed, but I went with the grand hall where you fight possesed riku. Measuring each walls pixels using sora as a comparison for each I came up with these measurements
the hard part was finding a spot to cast firaga, that was A, in a corner, and B, reached another corner.

What I ended up doing was using the emblem close to the ledge (the path is highlighted in red) to find a nice halfway point and lined up a shot. once I got a good shot, I used this footage and did a frame by frame to measure the speed. This came out to be .2333 seconds. Keep in mind this the actual fire traveling, not the animation.

The dark firaga travels 642.87cm to the end of its length right when the screen starts to light up. 139 seconds in real time
the distance between the shield impact, and the dark firagas location is 1/3 of a tile.
this means goofy, at a minimum speed of .014 seconds travels 771.44cm and intercepts the dark firaga.
this means goofy was going at a minimum, 1983.7 km/h or 1232.62 mp/h
if this wasnt a disney game everyone in that room would be dead at worst, permanently deaf with major organ damage at best
