There's like, 20 voice actors total. There's only a few VAs in general. It's already a niche small field that's very hard to get into.

Right, it's propaganda. we're watching a dying society that no longer has any ties to one another. So it desperately claws at itself to remove the unfamiliar elements, not realizing that the parts it clawing away are still a part of itself even if it doesn't like them.

What will they do about mixed-breeds? Will they have to hire hapa VAs of the exact same race mix or can they just go with a VA from any of the races that character is identified as?

What about characters that are explicitly not identified with a race? Do you have to go by a skin color test, where the skin color and hair texture has to match?

Where do we go with things like the Teletubbies? Do they have to add black, yellow, red-faced teletubbies now?
