I also liked season 1 the first time around, but it did not hold up through a second watch.

Pro bending, the love triangle, and Amin's backstory were so lame.
That they intended it to just be the one season is baffling. You'd think it would be tighter and more "legendary."

Picks up big time in the third season, though.

S2 S3 S4 was trash, especially S2.

Season 2 is bad but not like irredeemably bad. There's enough good parts that you can imagine a way it could have not been bad, at least.

Season 1 is a mixed bag, there's plenty to enjoy about it but I dislike the sports/romance plots and the ending obviously shit the bed.
Season 2 is mostly shit with a few decent things here and there.
Season 3 is pretty good overall, not perfect but it's my favorite.
Season 4 could have been as good as season 3 but it suffered from budget cuts and being pushed out the door because fuck Nick.

I liked the Varrick plot, and I think Unalaq was a good villain apart from his entire plot being retarded. Also the Wan episodes were pretty.

First half of Season 2 is okay, it just shits the bed in the latter half, which is what makes it so painful

Later half isn't even that bad though. It's just not as good as it could have been.

Season 1- worse than atla but still decent
Season 2- Boring and pretty bad with only a few highlights
Season 3- around the same level of season 1 and which one is better depends on which villain you liked more
Season 4- just okay. Probably the most forgettable. Not bad but not good either.

Korra isn’t a bad show it’s just mediocre. Also keep in mind it wasn’t planned to be more than one season and that’s a big reason why the other seasons feel off
