The lack of the bad dream is also bit of an issue because now she doesn't know who Towdi Kwar is. It's not the biggest problem, and it could be fixed with a simple change of his dialogue. "Hello. I am Towdi Kwar, I am from the police etc." Or, change Teff's dialogue to call him a policeman rather than by name. Or even have Bluevoice name him when he takes over Teff's body to confront him.

But honestly I'm sensing that a fair bit of re-organizing and re-drawing will be happening. Hopefully not a full-on reboot.

Also the new art in the new first chapter is cute.

This new version of the chapter makes Towdi looks more like a protagonist as well.

Does this feel off to anyone else? Maybe I'm so used to the other first chapter but this feels really unnatural to read, and the character design feels weird.

I like the second one more myself, it has a lot more expression to it.
The old one felt a bit like a fever dream, everything too "soft" and "contained".
The doll freaking slightly out and being offended she cannot call Blue Voice by his real name establishes that the relationship has ties as strong as that of Tobio and Emeri.
