Family Guy is literally The Offensive Show. Every minute of it from day one was designed to offend people. The writers fought 24/7 against the FCC and the Parents Television Council for their right to be as offensive as possible, to absolutely everyone possible, and that's the only real merit they had.
Why the fuck have they now suddenly STARTED caring about who they're offending?
Trump destroyed Fox's reputation and now Family Guy is owned by Disney.
Blake Morgan
nowadays it's easier to get canceled over offending, and the ratio of edgy audiences thatll eat up your show for being offensive is dramatically lower compared to the amount of people who will get offended
it's just not profitable anymore
Carson Flores
But they are offending you user
Carter Reed
Because edgy humor is dying out fast and hard so they're desperately trying to keep with the times. >But user, what about the internet??? The internet is tame as fuck compared to even just 10 years ago, it's about as "edgy" these days as a five year old's drawing of a stick figure getting its head cut off.
Levi Jackson
The exact same reason South Park sucks shit now too.
Fighting against old fuddy duddy christian ladies was much easier than standing up to the morally absolutist left.
Chase Williams
they're offending trumptards and alt-righters
Justin Long
being offensive is fine as long as it's funny but now the joke is that it's offensive which isn't funny it's also just incredibly mean spirited and lacks the polish of the first few seasons now the jokes amount to "person is in pain or in shocking/disgusting situation now laugh"
Jordan Collins
with enough mental gymnastics yes, and they didn't even mean it
Nathan Reyes
seeing the "muh freeze peach" chuds get btfo has been hilarious
Christian Gutierrez
>"person is in pain or in shocking/disgusting situation now laugh" this. offensive stuff is funny when it says something that shouldnt very said, and feels wrong to laugh at, more often than just "haha dead baby axe in head punch and kill homeless woman" kinda shit
Jayden Hall
This is obviously some sort of Illuminati mandate considering literally EVERY show decided to follow this new policy at the exact same institute, with every voice actor or actress being adamant that they are voluntarily giving up their role to PoCs. The Family Guy writers, cast, etc. have nothing to do with it. It's above their paygrade.
I always found Family Guy to be a hypocritical show. "Oh, we're for gay marriage, but in this episode, the gay character is marrying a guy purely because he looks like an underage boy"
Benjamin Morris
Its always been a libshit show, now they have a stranglehold on culture so if they say jump everyone says how high. Plus they get the added bonus of seeing the trumptards complain so its easily justified
They only say they're for gay marriage to avoid getting cancelled by libs.
Luis Rodriguez
considering this user also said "muh freeze peach" im assuming theyre from certain... unfortunate twitter circles that kinda adopted that word as of recent
red flag
Jaxson White
Family Guy has never been revolutionary or edgy. It's always been firmly in line with mainstream Hollywood thinking and never has gone against it.
Jackson Thompson
The icing on top is not too long ago they made an entire episode about Brian getting cancelled and how people are too sensitive nowadays.
Ryan Powell
>Why the fuck have they now suddenly STARTED caring about who they're offending? Disney owns them just like the Simpsons and they are moving them to a more kid friendly shit or cancelling them, just like all that could be problematic basically.
Their goal was never really to offend, but to appeal BY offending. It’s not like they were trying to make art.

"Chud" is becoming to the left what "cuck" and "tranny" are to the right. Stop using it. If you want to call someone a cunt, call them a cunt, for petes sake.
Nathan Rodriguez
You can joke about murder, abortion, and assault all day & night but jokes about rape and race are forbidden. Because the feelings of the former victims matter less.
Ian Green
>The writers fought 24/7 against the FCC and the Parents Television Council for their right to be as offensive as possible Offensive to a specific group of people, not their target audience. And now that it's their target audience getting offended, they have no choice but to fold.
