The best I can give is to try and talk like the person talks, dont worry about the sound, if you can capture the mannerisms is the key to a good impression

First off, for Quark, his voice is more stoic because it comes from the back of the throat. It also has a flowing, suaveness to it (sort of like Zapp Brannigan) because the VA controls a combination of his larynx/near his Adam's Apple and adenoid where the voice ramps and fluctuates in pitch very quickly but stops right before a voice break (sort of like Goofy)
I'd recommend watching "I Know That Voice" more specifically, the segment on legacy voices (which is close to impressions) but, really just watch the full thing when you get the chance.
