CRASHING THROUGH THE SKY
COMES A FEARFUL CRY

If this were made today, the audience would be cheering for Cobra to blow up that statue.

>cobra fights for antifa, white nationalists, black lives matter, Soros, the Russians, Trump, the democrats, the republicans, the europeans, the asians and for itself
Based Cobra.

I can't see GI Joe ever getting a new cartoon seeing how everyone thinks military bad.

I've been cheering for Cobra for decades.

Only in this intro, best thing to come out of the series.

Good old 80s cartoons. Make the intro look super good and the actual cartoon average at best.

cow-bra

It would be such a cobra move for them to gain the trust of these type of people without knowing that they're actually trying to take over planet

GI JOEEE!!
REAL AMERICAN HERO
GI JOE IS THERE

You have a point about the regular episodes, but the movie looked consistently great.

Reminder that Major Bludd survives, he can seen with the other Cobra members in the opening scene.

And after that, you can go home. It's rare a film peaks in the first 3 minutes.

I always wanted to be a Strato-Viper.

It's a key part of 80's/early 90's cartoons. The intro is basically what it's about, concentrated into a minimum of time, and done with high production value.

This is G.I Joe distilled down to 3 minutes with so many animation grace notes that it would basically be impossible to do in a regular series.

the upcoming GI Joe movie better have an intro half as awesome as this one.
But I know it won't, and it makes me sad

Cobra LALALALALALALALALALALALALALA

Attached: RAH_Serpentor01.jpg (360x450, 37.35K)

Man Cobra-La was an intresting as fuck idea, but it did not belong in GI Joe.
First off it made no fucking sense, why would Cobra-La want an army of humans? And why would those humans want to work with Cobra-La?
And why would Cobra-La want to create a leader made from the DNA of human leaders to lead said army, and then Serpentor just thinking he's a Cobra-La member when he isn't.
God it was so fucking off the wall.

I'm fond of Televipers. There's something that just works about these bastards.
