>Later in the episode they mention that Livewire is a legal minor
How did they get away with this?

Because it's not that obvious of an innuendo.

Is it even an innuendo?

Because he was doing the right thing

I think it might be the most glaringly obvious innuendo of all time, personally.

>James Remar plays Gambi in Black Lightning who pretty much raises Jeff as a son
>He's also Gordon's uncle in Gotham
>Both are rape obsessed heroes.

I'm mad for several reasons
>Livewire being a misunderstood kid as opposed to the fun villain she's supposed to be
>The retarded logic of Black Lightning hurting Livewire. If anything, she should be draining him.
>Livewire's fucking hair being down instead of spiked up, thus making her look too similar to Killer Frost.
Furthermore, Young Justice is fucking shit. Yeah the first season was fine, but the storytelling got worse as it progressed. With the time skips you're just piecing together what you missed, and forgiving the fact character arcs and major events happened off screen. This isn't even getting into the unfocused narrative with too many fucking characters fighting for spotlight. Also does anyone even give a damn about the dates/time stamps at this point?

Does this count as getting blacked?

I'm currently watching through the whole thing for the first time, and I think I agree. I thought Season 1 was really good, but the timeskip to Season 2 was extremely jarring with how much important shit happened in it and how much characters had just completely changed attitude, and then they did it again for Season 3. Also, Season 3 is definitely trying to be edgier, and I'm not enjoying it.

Was there any BTS reasoning for all the time skip stuff? It kinda felt like they had a few seasons planned out, heard mumblings of cancellation during Season 1, and slapped the "skip a few seasons" button or something. Such a jarring change.

Because he is a nigger

>If anything, she should be draining him
She's draining part of him

It was the plan from the get-go. Timeskips are part of the show's DNA, according to Weisman, so that they can show specific elements and characters they want to focus on.

Weisman goes pretty in depth with the show bible so what we see is probably a tenth of what Weisman went into.

Not him but that just seems like lazy storytelling to me. They're asking a lot from the audience, to acknowledge a shit ton of character arcs and important events just happened off screen just so they can "get to the good stuff".

The Phil Bourassa style is cancer and I hope we never see it again.

That’s mostly why I couldn’t stand the DCUAOM.

Tim's Robin symbol being a black R on a yellow background instead of the other way around is making my teeth itch.

What's the difference between regular lightning and black lightning?

It was fine in Crisis of Two Earths but got sloppier with time, especially when YJ hit season 3

Black Lighting is responsible for a lot more strikes despite being a more localized phenomenon

I swear Vandal Savage, Clayface, and Manta came out on top of that art style.

I understand why, so that they can flesh out the universe and have these huge events that take years of their time to unfold, but man I agree. I wish I could have seen the Season 1 team grow up more, I loved seeing them as adults but S1 was so comfy.

That's stupid. Why do that?

Oh, yeah, we're just skipping 5 years. Robin is Nightwing now and Rocket and Zatanna are on the Justice League.

It was dumb.

Did Cissie even speak? Like at all?

I thought this was part of that Harley Quinn show with how sexual this screencap looks.

What would Tobias Whale say about this?

Damn Livewire looks like that?

Their postures remind me of some kind of shitty webcomic. CAD perhaps?

>Add Icon and Rocket to the show, first time these characters have ever been represented in any official DC animated media
>Proceed to do absolutely nothing with them

I just wish that Livewire got more time to shine.

Not really but fans loved it anyway.

Young Justice was never good and is Weisman at his absolute worse where everyone's keikakuing everyone else. The only thing it's good for is cooming to Wonder Girl.

Yeah, that's what I dislike about Weisman's shows. A back up plan or two, that's fine but back ups for everything under the sun is kinda insane.

It's a good art style and it won an Emmy for a reason. The problem was that because of that win, WB had the brilliant idea to use the same art style for their shitty movies, as well as the adjacent CW animated shorts and movies. It got exhausted by the time season 3 was greenlit.

It's like how the Timm style got overused in the earlier movies and they all looked pretty samey.
