Great run so far but what the fuck is up with this bitch...

Great run so far but what the fuck is up with this bitch? She wants to get turned into the Hulk because she feels she's being oppressed by white males? That is literally the single dumbest possible reason I've ever heard of someone wanting to become a superhero, and an irradiated senseless Hulk no less.

She doesn't feel oppressed...

Holy dogshit.

I wonder when it will end.

She's there to be an outsider looking in and being proven wrong about what she thinks Hulk is.

She wants Hulk's power, but fails to understand the horror that comes with it.

In 16 issues.

I get that, but it's too brazen. I wanted to know why she wante dot become a Hulk, I wanted to like her, but this? She's managed to be the dumbest and most evil person in this comic and that's saying alot. No wonder she's in hell, goddamn.

Don't forget the part where Joe Fixit says Trans Rights. That's when I dropped it

He only liked the article because it pissed people off, you moron

This did not age well lmao

Power fantasies are often attractive to those who feel they lack control. Wanting to finally let loose with power beyond what society is capable of holding her accountable for? Being able to dictate the terms of her life with no one able to tell her otherwise?
There's plenty of people who long for that kind of power, regardless of their race or mindset.

Of course such fantasies ignore the consequences of exercising such power over others, and that's also a pretty human flaw to exhibit. All things considered she's a decent character, if a little uninteresting compared to everything else going on. Not sure if this book really needs someone to play the 'straight man', no pun intended.

It's not as bad as Bruce defeating Roxxon with the Green Scar, vanquishing a corporate demagogue with the power...of an autocratic demagogue

Hulk has always been a power fantasy because he gets angry and beats everyone up. But that’s surface level understanding of the Hulk and the truth is that his life is hell and her thinking he’s got it easy is why he laughs at her. Her role in the comic is to be this person that realizes that being the Hulk sucks. It gets to the point where she barely wants to be around him but she sticks with it. It’s called character growth.

>thinking that was actually Green Scar
>forgetting that Hulk could smell the lies

It didn't need to age well. It's almost a direct reference to the Brett Kavanaugh confirmation shit, iirc.
Remember how he and a bunch of stuffy good ol' boy politicians threw temper tantrums and wept crocodile tears on public television? And he got confirmed to the highest judicial office despite losing all composure?

Strongly disagree. Aside from the cop who's, y'know, law enforcement, the Hulk's actions have been entirely portrayed as destructive and sadistic. She saw sasquach kill like 4 people. For her to suddenly be "wow that's awesome" is the mark of a total psychopath and not someone wrapped up in fantasies.

>guy gets upset when you try to destroy his life with bullshit allegations
I'd be pissed too

>yes goyim don't get angry when people single out your children and use them to shame you on baseless aligations
>Never mind that the woman literally threw friends under the bus and no one could confirm she was at the party

At what point did she say she would use that power in the same ways?

Holy cope. Why can’t you Ewingfags accept Ewing is pro Tranny?

I'm just annoyed nobody asked Brett to describe, under oath, how one plays "The Devil's Triangle."

It would've been fucking legendary.

What a snowflake.

If he is its probably the worst possible book to do it in. You don't see the irony at all?

And people who serve in the highest judicial seat in the country should be able to control themselves instead of breaking down and ranting about conspiracy theories on live TV. He guy was mad because he felt entitled to a swift confirmation and then approval by the Republican majority.

Isn't that "victim blaming"? God, I hate how cancerous us culture is and hope it stopa reaching here. People were lucky he didn't sue like that Covington kid.

>If he is its probably the worst possible book to do it in

You mean a book where you literally have identity issues and trapped in a body you do not fully control and feel is your own?

I mean a book that deals with the mentally ill, body horror, and literal monsters.

Yes, and? It doesn't draw direct parallel that if you're trans you're a monster. One of the main theme is identity.

That makes it even worse, Jesus Christ

Damn... I'm sorry I owned slaves... I don't even remember it...

>N-No, this book shows trannies in a positive light!
Imagine hating a book so much you side with the mentally ill

I mean, that's definitely true that he liked that, but are you going to tell me Joe Fixit has never fucked a twink or a femboy? Cause I don't think any man like that could live in Vegas for so long trying every excess known to man and not pound some butts.
