This is true, and they honestly should be torn down. Like most if not all of them sprung up during the civil rights area and a lil before that as a fuck you to black at the time. Personally my own problem with it and the whole BLM is that it’s a faceless movement, a mob with a message, but no direct voice to speak it like what the 60’s has with MLK. There’s isn’t any centralized movement and it’s more just a broad term and in that you’re gonna have extremist that you can’t really reign in because there’s no one voice speaking through the fog saying “we don’t support x thing these fucks are doing”. Honestly there should a concerted effort to try and push for either notable black professionals or community leaders to be “chapter leaders” in each city/ town and electing a main small council of prominent black/minority people that act as the main talking head so there’s a clearer message being said.
