Because Korra isn't on Normieflix. Which is kinda dumb. They should have added it alongside AtLA.

they probably want to wait for the ATLA hype to die down so they can brag about how well it's doing on twitter

Maybe. Would be cool if they did add it though.

I can't believe they waited to show her bare feet until the end of S3. What a blunder.

KORRA SUCKS!! PROVE ME WRONG.

My fiancé and I finished TLA again and she begged me to watch Korra with her. I just finished the first book and it wasn't actually that bad. The romance shit is annoying though. And Korra is too much of a bitch to Tenzin

Korra is another example of fame getting to the creator's heads and no one questioning their ideas. Like we all forget that tweedle dum and tweedle dee had a whole team of people to work with. Unlike in Korra where they had free range to do whatever they want and no one to tell them No.

fuck her

Nahh
I actually rewatched Korra more because the individual seasons can be portioned quite well.

Korra is uneven on a full rewatch. ATLA was a continuous storyline that had a natural end point. That helped the character arcs and character growths feel more consistent and rewarding.

Tak Asami, for instance. Once the plot line with her dad was through, she had nothing else to do and eventually became Korra's lesbian lover out of nowhere. That shit is way more jarring rewatching the series in full.

i cant you're 100% right

Because Korra is bad. Why would you rewatch something bad?

I'll gladly rewatch season 1 and 3

Then id be a liar.

Why

I'm not. I finished ATLA a few days ago, and I'm watching Season 3 of Korra right now.

i rewatched korra, skipped some s2 episodes, worked out alot better. its not as amazing as atla but is serviceable enough to make me a fan

I finally got around to watching Korra earlier this year, jesus was it a shitshow.

so where are you fools getting this info from just askingg

Oh it will get worse as the seasons progress

Rewatch Korra? Not happening. If such a thing was possible, I would pay good money to unwatch it.

The romance stuff was a weird choice. They had the romance in ATLA, and the fans liked it, but it was pretty straight forward and not too overt given that they were all pretty young. I guess it makes sense that the writers wanted to give it a little more attention this time around, but giving so much time to "hue hue love triangles" just felt a little out of place given the franchise's premise. Then again, LoK overhauled so much of the show that you can kinda say everything felt weird.

A co-worker of mine watched ATLA for the first time and when I asked her if she was gonna watch Korra she said no because it wasn't on Netflix. That's prob the biggest barrier - if it was people would give it a watch out of curiosity if nothing else. Whether they'd finish the series or if they'd enjoy it who knows.

no one cares about jewish feminist propaganda faggot. OG avatar is all thats missed.

>skipping Korra
And nothing of value was lost.

No way.

Season 1 is at least understandable. Season 3? Nah.

>Season 1 is at least understandable. Season 3? Nah.
Why the fuck would you rewatch season 1. It's all set in the same, boring place

LoK isn’t very good

korra is trash, sooooo

This scene hit me harder than anything else in either series.
Jinora, looking just like Aang, and Korra, broken mentally and physically.

How can I prove your own personal opinion wrong?
I think it's good, and I think most people who think it's bad are nostalgiafags.

Season 2 tends to be people's least favourite, but don't give up. It sets up some really cool stuff in S3 and S4.
Also, after S2 they completely drop the love triangle.

The original is also set in the world of Avatar you idiot.

first season was fine, everything after wasn't

Disagree. I just watched both series for the first time back to back and ATLA was much more of a slog to get through. It somehow feels like things are happening too slowly and too quickly at the same time. Great characters, though.

Korra didn't have an overarching plot bc that's not what Nic asked for.
Asami and Korra is actually quite built up in S3 and S4 but you have to be watching for it as they weren't sure what they would be able to get away with. The most obvious is that Asami was the only one Korra kept in contact with in the 3 years she was away.
