So what's the appeal of Thor exactly? He's the least interesting character of his series, only loses a fight because the plot says so, and his only notable character arcs are learning humility or taking up the throne

He’s hot.

That's primarily the reason why women see his films

Fantastical adventures from a godly being in other realms

Yeah but that doesn't really have anything to do with Thor himself. That's the setting

>So what's the appeal of Superman exactly? He's the least interesting character of his series, only loses a fight because the plot says so, and his only notable character arcs are showing humility or taking up the throne

Seething Superfags always discredit other characters. You are honestly just as pathetic as Gokufags.

I’m not really a fan of his movies, but I do regularly read his comics tho.

Obsessed

Then what's the appeal of Thor?

The adventures of mystical gods from space that can range from traditional cape, to fantasy to even sci-fi. It’s the variety and mixture between Nordic mythology and space operas that always appealed to me. Plus I find Thor pretty hot, like I’ma dude but I would bang him if I had the chance.

Again, that's just the background. What makes Thor, the character, interesting?

He likes to fight and is really powerful. There's really nothing more than him than that and the occasionally humbling.

So just self-inserting power level bullshit?

>So what's the appeal of Conan exactly? He's the least interesting character of his series, only loses a fight because the plot says so, and his only notable character arcs are looting temples/wizard towers or taking up the throne

Surprisingly, it's easy to forget Thor is really a god. Most writers don't really take advantage of that and just focus on him being strong, able to fly, and sometimes can use electricity.

Last week's Avengers was a good reminder that he is a god by simply showing him create a storm on the moon. A place with no water suddenly being filled with rain and life just because he lifted he arm.

He's Superman but good

The entire point was that he could create a storm BECAUSE there is atmosphere/water on the Blue Area of the Moon.

He is a badass, he is the mightiest warrior.
The adventures of a warrior king is honestly interesting, there is bravery, courage and fights.

the entire point is that there IS NO MOON
idiots

Thor can summon storms from galaxies away. And has been confirmed to be capable of creating storms even on planets without an atmosphere.

>Dude! Thor is so badass, like, he's a literal god and a warrior and a king and he fucks like 4 different women. Did I mention Thor shoots lightning? So fucking sick

I didn't realize until now how fucking stupid Thor and his fans are

name four heroes who fuck fewer than three women

>Dude! Superman is so badass, like, he's a literal god and the most powerful superhuman on Earth and is the king of the Metaverse and every women wants to fuck him. Did I mention Superman shoots lasers? So fucking sick

The only thing that annoys me in Thor is that faux shakespearian speech of asgardians/norse gods.

Thor is a man whore
Did i touch a nerve, Thorfag?

Anyone else miss Don Blake? I think after Cates is gone there's a good opportunity to bring him back with Thor needing to reconnect with his humanity.

>Anyone else miss Don Blake?
No, Donald Blake is obsolete. Best Thor stories are usually those where is he away from Earth and being Thor.

Hey I would but dumbass Thorfags like keep calling him a relic and obsolete despite JMS using him. Blake fucks with their autistic power fantasy

He talks funny and it makes me laugh
>I say thee nay

>I would
Donny?

so... was that lois lane comic good... or should i worry about the writers?

It’s Silver Age DC, so covers like that didn’t actually happen in the issue’s content. It was basically clickbait before the term clickbait even existed.
