Now that we’re getting more PG-13 and R-rated animated movies, what would you like to see?
I want a film adaptation of pic related.

I'd prefer a live action adaptation, but a rotoscoped version with extremely explicit violence would be bad-ass.
Also, am I the only brainlet who thought that "Delaware" meant White people from Delaware and not Delaware Indians? It wasn't until halfway through the novel that I realized that Natives were hunting other Natives.
Someone mentioned Clancy Brown as a good VA pick for The Judge and I'd have to agree. That or the audio book narrator. I should know his name by heart but fuck me I can't remember.

i can’t imagine taking a live action howlitzer part seriously
The Judge does a lot of unbelievable things. That's part of the appeal.
I have argued for years that this would work amazingly as an art-house animation film.
Old West howitzers weren't that big. Like short barrel cannons.
The Turner Diaries adaptation.
I think it would be extremely difficult to be able to capture the tone and atmosphere of the book as a live action adaptation.
Kingdom Come
Always thought it needed a Munch-style adaptation. I would love to see the Master and Margarita adapted as well, kids go crazy for magical realism.
Well adult animation is the fastest growing form of animation currently
>Someone makes an animated Blood Meridian movie
>Some parent thinking "animated = kids film" takes their really young kids to see it
>Three days later that kid scalps the neighbours kid while calling him a nigger
Something with lewd fanservice in it
We've never seen a theatrical animated superman movie. Warner Bros. Here's your opportunity. Get Genndy Tartakovsky on the horn, and have him make that Superman TV movie he was going to make for the DC nation block. But give him a huge budget and creative to make it as good as it possibly can be.
Honestly a Blood Meridian film would be fucking terrifying.
A triology of Thundarr the Barbarian animated films. Seriously, trying to serious up He-Man just usually leads to grim-dark edgelord try hard bullshit. It's better with even just a bit of camp.
Thundarr, on the other hand, would *thrive* in a PG-13/R rated scenario, especially if you can somehow attract the Fallout crowd. Actually get into fucked up details of how the world crumbled, Thundarr actually kills people, Ookla tears them apart, etc. etc.
Have there be an overall plot with some kind of Townbuilding element where Thundarr and co are trying to fortify up some post apoc city (like "Manhat" from the first episode) to keep it safe from warlords and wizards and other such shitheads. And a sub plot addressing Thundarr's origins, and if he could ever settle down or if he's doomed to just going around mowing down any evil arcanist he can get his hands on.
A movie version of this could work too.
I'd love to see an animated Tales from the Crypt movie. Give us some animated horror with some comedy in the mix.
I’ve also been thinking of making an animated anthology movie, like a cross between Heavy Metal and Creepshow.
Richard Williams Prologue convinced me that it could work
The fuck is blood meridian?
A novel by Cormac McCarthy
Fun cowboy adventures
Seconded. Blood Meridian is a good time.
>I got spurs that jingle jangle jingle
I would give my left nut for this to ge adapted properly
Looks like a happy Mr X. A mite too happy.
He's good with kids
Will we finally get a proper red-eyed, extra-finger-having Hannibal Lecter?
I mean, the ones we already have are cool (except the faggot from Rising. Fuck him.) but still.
Heres your live action film adaptation bro
