I honestly didn't think they could top the giant evangelizing cockroach rat makeout session but the fuckers did it. What happened with the Tyme dude being the main villain this season? Feels like they're not actually going to have an antagonist and just focus on the characters learning how to more forward.

I’ve never read Doom Patrol, figure I’ll start with Morrison’s run. Is there any ‘required reading’ before I get into that or is it self contained enough I can just start now?

I'm pretty certain it's self-contained, more or less. I read it with no previous experience and was fine.

Should the She Hulk show take notes from Doom Patrol in terms of absurdity? Jen did work for a rather strange law firm. Remember that guy who got superpowers from a work accident, then tried to sue his employer for unsafe conditions? Or what about Dr Bong?

Haven't seen the new season yet. Loved the first, but crazy Jane looks and sounds exactly like an ex of mine, who used to sexually abuse me and use her cancer diagnosis to manipulate me. So I won't be able to watch it until I'm in a confident enough spot mentally to see past it. Unless she goes though a major wardrobe/makeup change or something this season.
