If you don't like Peridot after her arc you're not a Peridot fan at all and are a smoothbrain who only likes characters for their aesthetic. Her gained empathy was always present even if there were less oppurtunities for her to practice tech. She's one of the best characters throughout the show whenever Lapis isn't around

Makes me realize how Steven never truly bonded with them until Future and even then, it was one sided in the opposite light.
Steven wasn't up for fun, while the two gals in their most autonomous in the whole series are just having fun with the advice they give Steven. Not realizing how unhinged he's gotten by that point.
Sad. They came so far but when it would have been a nice time for them to help Steven he was far too gone.
