Eh, it’s not good to stay somewhere forever. Plus now he can visit every glory hole in America
It's bad, but Future has done even worse, like deleting Steven's character development and claiming Steven's life was always terrible and Steven was in denial the whole time.
This. People who never leave their safety bubble never grow. If all you knew was your neighborhood and the people in it, you'd be a very close minded and dull person to be around. Every kid should take some time to develop themselves. Steven's got a lot of maturing to do and a self-discovery road trip is good. His dad did it, after all.
>People who never leave their safety bubble never grow. If all you knew was your neighborhood and the people in it, you'd be a very close minded and dull person to be around
That's the opposite of Steven
>Steven's got a lot of maturing to do
That's always been presented as the premise of the show, not something that should happen off-screen after the end of the show's sequel.
>Every kid should take some time to develop themselves
That's not what happens at the end of Future. He lives to find a new home where he plans to live by himself from that moment on. Even though he already has his own house.
Beach City has no right to be that cute with a good vibe
That's not what it said retard. Trauma doesn't take effect right away.
I think Steven fucked off to do all the things he never got a chance for thanks to his dad. Skipped town, got a GED, reconnected with his grandparents and the rest of his human family.
I think a series of children's books, one per 39 states in Su's world, that covers Steven's journey would be cool
Just a little time
Just a little something up ahead
Just a little time
Just a little something else instead
I'm dreaming of
Being

Being human
Just a little time
Just a little something that I need
Just a little time
Just a little feeling gaining speed
I'm dreaming of
Going
Going
Going
Going somewhere else

Greg wasn't opposed to giving him college education.
He basically gave gemkind the big middle finger from that point on. Funniest part is him freaking out about his life when he's only 16 and it only has begun.
no he just thought school was for squares and had him poorly homeschooled by gems.
Just a little time, user. Gems don’t really need him for much anyways
Why does what the characters in the episode say contradict what the song says? They say he's moving permanently but the song says he's just taking a break to be alone.
That’s just his personal time, his trip can’t last forever, when it’s done, he’ll get back to Diamond stuff
But they don't talk about it like it's a trip, they talk about it like he's moving out and that's why it makes no sense to me
He's touring the country to see if he can find a place to live. That's why the beach house (which Greg built) is Greg's now. There's warp pads and Lion and the gems said they'd go wherever he was to visit him and listen to what he's done so really he's better off than ever now.
He is moving, bit the trip itself is his break. Once he settles down, he can continue his work with the Gems if they need him, Lion, Warp Pads, video conferences
>Funniest part is him freaking out about his life when he's only 16 and it only has begun
I know. How unlike every average 16 year old screeching about climate, Covid, “tradition,” politics, race, and gender.
When you've spent most of your life living in a van and then the first part of your teenage years saving the universe everything else is small potatoes really
Because sending a 16 year old out into the world alone even though he never received any kind of education, is mentally ill, shows homicidal tendencies when stressed, and has god like powers out of his control would be really stupid irl
He wasn't "stressed out" when he turned into the monster, he literally had a complete mental breakdown. If he was stressed out his gem powers would kick in to let him get out of the situation harmlessly.
How is that different from what I said? They do say that by the way, they claim Steven has always been using the problems of the people around him to avoid thinking about his own and that his family never did anything to help him (even though that's not true at all if you actually watch the show)
He wasn't in his monster form when he killed Jasper and tried killing White.
Why is he moving then? The parallel with his parents doesn't even work anyway since they moved because they didn't like their families
It was great and i wish we could see him having adventures out there. Just being a human.
But that's boring just like the townie filler.
Apparently when Steven Universe Future began I ended up in an alternate dimension where the original show was about a boy living in space, constantly being traumatized and never having any friends. Fun fact: the show I watched had tons of episodes about him just being a human with his human friends. I liked them, but most people hated them.
you're a fag
this
It’s time for him to grow. Rose and Greg didn’t just change because they hated where they were, it was also because they fell in love with certain things and wanted to explore them, Greg had music, so he wanted but to explore that, Pink had Earth, he just kinda wants to check out the country, see what’s there
