Transformers Back to the Future Comic Crossover announced by IDW

A new special 4-issue comic miniseries crossover comic by IDW has been announced for October 1, 2020.

The story follows Marty as he evades the Decepticons, who have caught wind of Doc's time machine. But since Marty's just a puny human, he'll need some help. It comes in the form of this new Autobot, Gigawatt.

Neat

>Gigawatt
Finally a crossover with someone else in the spotlight.

>Not Terminator/Back to the Future

Maybe one day. We did get Transformers/Terminator

Is that an OC?

so who should i read Gigawatt as?

Biff.

The figure is disappointing, I hope we get a comic using the transformers in ww2.

Yes.

Good, there aren't enough silver bots in this franchise.

I was wondering if IDW was going to do anything with the BttF franchise again. I liked the ongoing and a few of the minis, so maybe this will be good.

We already have a Terminator one and were having a My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic event by the end of July.

wait a minute doc and mharti, are you telling me you built an autobot out of a time machine?

Neat. I hope its as fun as the Ghostbusters crossover. Gigawatt's design is kind of meh though

I like the face a lot but the body is a bit too clunky for my taste. Too much kibble.

Yeah he's too blocky, even for G1 standards.

> DeLorean autobot
not sure if genius or cringe desu

It's like they upscaled one of those old Spychanger figures.

Already done, in Dreamwave's TF/G.I. Joe book. Unfortunately, it sucks.

It's clunky to be sure, but it BARELY has any kibble.

>Ghostbusters Transformer is an Autobot
>Back to the Future Transformer is an Autobot
When are we going to get a new Decepticon out of one of these crossover minis?

Doubt we will ever.
Just as I doubt the already existing TFs mains will ever be other guys than the big 7 or so.

>why is the transformer that works with the good guys good

>When are we going to get a new Decepticon out of one of these crossover minis?
Would have been balls out awesome if Gigashit was a Decepticon breaking the tired narrative.

what classic movie vehicle will be a transformer next!
I hope its the batmobile

They're saving that for MLP.

At least BttF means it will be comedic. I can never take crossovers seriously to begin with and with only 4 volumes there isn't enough time for a big story either so I vastly prefer those that simply try to be funny.

Could we get a time train transformer? Genuine question: do they even have living trains in the Transformers universe or is everybody a car, gun, animal, plane, and dinosaur?
