Name a batman villain the joker couldn't beat

Bane hasn't been more than an irrellevent jobber since his first comic.

Explain to me why Zsasz isn't a better and more efficient killer, without Joker's plot armor coming into play.

Zsasz actually killed hundreds of people with his own hands and knives unlike that pussy clown. He probably has more experience of overpowering his victims than Joker does.

This is the greatest flaw and dare I say punchline of Batman, the fact that a guy in a rubber suit holds founder status in the League means his greatest nemesis has to be just as strong even though he's just a two bit comic who couldn't cut it as a gangster

I can half buy that Joker gets to avoid the death penalty in gotham due to legal technicalities: But Waller Doesn't give a FUCK about the law, she does what she views as best for the US's power.
The joker has ZERO use for the suicide squad: He's unusuable due to his instability so she has no reason to allow him to live: He's a massive threat to national security. Why the fuck she hasn't either paid some of the Asylum guards to murder him before getting smuggled out of the country to avoid charges, or why she hasn't sent in a hit squad to kill him is mind boggling.

This is another reason I hate batman when he's brought into a shared universe. Batman works best when he's in his own seperate reality from other superheros, like the punisher.

If you bring batman into the league he suddenly gets intelligence boosted to clairvoiyance and gets given tech on the level of Tony stark. You suddenly start asking "Why didn't Batman take his powered armor that can fight superman to deal with Scarface?" and wonder if batman is somehow just wanting to be "Sporting" when dealing with the character's who "power" is something like "has a split personality and bitched up face".

On the other hand, when he's in his own reality he can function as a street level character with just cutting edge military tech instead of super tech, and isn't literally superhuman so it makes sense for him to be menaced by a bunch of thugs working for crime lords.

originally Batman and Superman existed in different universes, but this was retconed so later on. Most of Batman like his no killing rule has been built through the years. But now people got a larger selection of superhero stories to realize, Batman is a contrived character made specifically to sell more comic books. So elements like Joker being alive and batman not crippling villains is just a marketing gimmick

If the universe ends then its beyond his control so he shouldn't stress out about it, but if it doesn't then the riddler will still need to have been stopped, so he might as well keep doing what he does everyday and not think about reality ending.

Joker is actually a perfect counter to Scarecrow. The joker is immune to most all toxins due to his chemical transformation, meaning he can't be fear gassed by Scarecrow.
And without his fear toxins the Scarecrow is basically just a really good chemist. (By the same token, poison ivy is a good counter to the joker because she's immune to his gas. She's also be a good counter to the scarecrow but I don't think those two have ever really gotten on each other's bad sides)

Vengeance/Knightfall/Bane of the Demon/Secret Six/Conquest Bane would mop their floor with Joker.
