Which was the better show?
Eli White
Jonathan Ramirez
These were the objective worst shows of the 2010s
Jaxon Mitchell
she-ra, it didn't have 3 endings
also fuck off, you probably haven't watched either and just wanna start shit, otherwise you would start by stating your own opinion
Jayden Ross
She'ra
Liam Parker
That's like asking which is better, getting stabbed or getting shot.
Brandon Peterson
Nobody who makes these threads has watched them. They're just regurgitating opinions they saw a youtuber critic say at most
Lucas Cruz
SU.
But She-Ra had the better development.
SU the better characters
Jonathan Phillips
Both are awful
Kevin Perez
She-Ra was more conventional and satisfying from a classic storytelling perspective. Steven Universe was more experimental and therefore more interesting to watch unfold. I'd say that SU has much higher highs and much lower lows, while Nu-Ra is consistently entertaining but never really reaches any true highs.
So, it really depends on your taste and what you look for in a cartoon. I personally liked SU more because I'm a fan of high-risk artsy shows, but She-Ra is probably more fun overall.
Nathan Bailey
SU S1-S2 were good , the rest shit only bismuth and the movie were worth it
She ra at least knew what was and didnt pretend to be other than that like SU
Brody Rogers
SU had more interesting things to offer with it's world/lore, but She-ra was more satisfying.
For example, one of the things I found was a common complaint with SU was "gee, I wonder how these two characters would interact, I can't wait to see!" - and then they never do, or they do offscreen.
She-ra however had a whole bunch of character match-ups, and their interactions would often have at least some, if not a whole lot of importance to their characters or the plot. Or they'd at least be entertaining.
James Myers
I enjoyed peridot’s arc
and there were episodes like “Mr Greg“ and “A single petal rose” which were among my favorite episode of the series, it’s true what they say though, She ra was more consistent, but never reached any highs for me, while Steven Universe has very high highs and very low lows yet I can say that I enjoyed Steven universe more
Jack Thomas
everything always 100% of the time with out fail always being Steven POV was awful
Wyatt Morgan
We were robbed Scorpiadora is the one true ship
Liam Price
>everything always 100% of the time with out fail always being Steven POV was awful
That’s true, they restricted themselves by only telling the story through Steven’s perspective
Angel Clark
My dick and your ass
Jaxon Thompson
>Scorpiadora
I disagree, I think catra should go solo for some time, she hurt Scorpio and Adora too much, that’s one of the reasons I don’t like any of her ships
Andrew Richardson
thus ruining every other character because people come off as having no life outside Steven
Eli Cruz
she-ra by far
Jace Murphy
>thus ruining every other character because people come off as having no life outside Steven
And they tied to address this on steven universe Future yet it was a a little too late and didn’t change much of the show by calling that out.
I may got killed by saying this, but I kind of liked su future
Caleb Howard
You'd have to hope that the two of them combined would result in at least one brain cell, or they'd tragically perish in tank lifting contests within a year
Jack Baker
???
I didn't indicate Catra was part of the mix? It was quite the opposite, that the two most involved with her get together rather to her exclusion
Owen Perry
I mean I won't kill you, but why? I liked some of it, most the weird plot points getting tied up like Jasper living in the woods and Bluebird Azurite
the whole Steven's personal issues were lame and forced, literally have to have him refuse to talk to Amethyst, who is basically his oldest friend, because that would have fixed his issues too quickly and without him literally breaking down
Landon Johnson
In a perfect world I could leave both to destroy each other.
Brayden Gutierrez
FPBP
Joseph Edwards
SU. At least it was something original, and not a complete and utter bastardization of an existing, if semi-dormant, IP.
Wyatt Russell
They are similar on a very surface level (Politics? I guess? Lesbians? Many people don’t look paste these two things) but I think they are really different shows.
With that said, I liked She-Ra more. Self contained, ties up all arcs neatly, has a clear endgame all along, almost no slice of life bullshit or fillers (which were really annoying in SU).
Ryder Phillips
She went solo for a good long while after Scorpia gtfo, and got her due punishment from the mental anguish of the loneliness/guilt, and eventually, mind-rape. I think denying herself love for any longer after doing it her whole life would be counterproductive to her growth, especially in regards to developing empathy and proper social skills.
If you mean she should just remain friends with Adora and co., it can't really be helped when two people are lucky enough to mutually be in love. Denying themselves that would go against the finale's whole theme
Elijah Martin
I think the term you're looking for is upgrade
although fucking anything is an upgrade from an 80s toy commercial
Gavin Garcia
Nigga I see you squirming out from the other thread
Logan Bailey
It was not an improvement. My She-Ra was the most powerful woman in the universe, not some moody, half brain-dead lesbian teenager.
Jonathan Fisher
>my She-ra
wow what a cringe statement
also sorry but most people don't rate story quality by the power level of the characters
Henry Barnes
>most powerful woman in the universe
>half brain dead teenager
These things aren't mutually exclusive
Grayson Lee
This is a bait thread folks.
