I barely watched the show and I knew about it, her name was lauren zuke. She got picked up off tumblr and the way sugar ran things everybody had a voice to contribute to directions of episodes.
You didn't notice how out of nowhere lapis and peridot were always together then on a barn, dealing with each other and (lapis?) started randomly making art? Then it just disappeared all together? That was all her until her ass got dropped
