How do people feel about the new characters Lion-S and Barbastella?

Lion-S is a bit "modern" looking but Barbastella is awesome, a chunky slutty milf.

Barely any share their old characteristics. Just goofy and spastic most the time. Which is the key problem.

If you took their old personality then built some humor on top of that, this might be salvageable.

But it doesn't. Basically just tosses the same humor beats between all of them.

I've being watching S1 of the original series and i somewhat agree. Their personalities are all basically "brave". The kittens and panthro show a bit more variance but it's barely there.
This is a bit of a problem with 80s media but I've never seen it this bad and the voice acting doesn't help.

Its definitely not a perfect a show but it's really funny. Funniest animated show I've seen in quite some time only competition is "what we do in shadows".

But was it confirmed? I may be overthinking this, but this scene seems to imply otherwise. I wouldn't be surprised if they casually revealed in some future episode that the backstory with the malfunctioning suspension capsule is canon in Roar.

It will get seven/eight seasons, two movie adaptations, continue it's straw man bullshit about "People have dumb opinions and are irrelevant" whilst trying so hard to come across as witty or ironic whilst falling hilariously on it's face. It will mostly fill in most scheduled programs that isn't TTG or the rare actually good show in-between and will just stay like that until seasonal rot gets to it first, or because kids will watch it because there's nothing better to do, thus gaining merchandise, plushies and notoriety with YouTube channels continuing to state how it sucks with it ultimately changing nothing and it being remembered as this bloated, oversaturated mess that CN didn't pull ages ago.

Seven/eight seasons and two movie adaptations sounds really good but the people have have dumb opinions shill was completely the work of Teen Titans GO! crew and mostly the opinion of Michael Jelenic, who worked on the 2011 series. No one on the roar staff had any input and didn't even see the episode til it was finished with the acception of the voice of Lion-o and Jaga.
