>"Cyborg can't be in the Justice League! He was only created 40 years ago! He hasn't earned this privilege yet! What is DC doing?
>"Yo, the new Wasp, the new Ms. Marvel and the new Nova were created yesterday and they are already members of the Avengers! This is awesome! Marvel really knows how to make these new characters feel important!"

What should Cyborg do to earn this privilege that comes so easily for all others?

Nice false equivalence faggot

What is "false" about it?

>braniac

People just want John Stewart to be the black guy of the League because they grew up with a cartoon with that line up

Cyborg can totally be on the JLA, just not a founder. His issues stem from lack of solo material, and being lumped on teams for long. Furthermore, its kind of a disservice to his character because as a result he's the team bus and plot device since he's half Mother Box now.

Why not Vixen? She's got a cool power set, and it helps even out the male/female ratio on the team

>It's a Company Wars retard thread
>Thinks Avengers fans actually wanted those characters taking over the book
>Thinks CBR articles supporting it was how fans actually felt
>Thinks the problem with Cyborg on the Justice League was him joining at all, not him being one of the founding members
>Unaware of how this affected the Titans, and how it permanently removed Cyborg from his home franchise and kept him away from characters all his history is with
You're not very good at this user

>Justice League is an stable elite group of like 10 superheroes max
>Justice League is inclusive, every A-C tier superhero is a member
>Justice League continually rotates their roster, sometimes its only heavy hitters, sometimes its unknowns
Which do you prefer Zig Forums?

The Avengers always took nobodies.

Also, Cyborg is thrown into the league by sidelining or outright destroying his past history with the Titans, which is basically his entire character since he was created to be a Titans team member, not a solo hero.

The Justice League book should take notes from DCAU's Justice League Unlimited. What I mean is that practically every DC hero is on the team, and the book shifts plots/focus between small random gathers depending on threats. The current issue with the JL book is that they keep scrambling to think of huge threats that warrant the entire main 7. Forget that, have a "main 7", but each coordinates with lower members. Like for example Flash is having an issue in central city, possibly magic, so he asks Zatanna to tag along and one or two available members for backup. There. Doing it this way will provide writers the creative freedom to write the stories they want, not necessarily event tier nonsense

That’s closer to those Brave and the Bold issues desu

All-New All-Different Avengers was a terrible lineup.

But you get my point. Wonder Twins by Russell sort of had the right idea, the entire JLA is more than just 7 people, and they coordinate staff based on threat

Nice brainless response faggot

Yeah, it works.

>Also, Cyborg is thrown into the league by sidelining or outright destroying his past history with the Titans, which is basically his entire character since he was created to be a Titans team member, not a solo hero.
this is my main problem too , they erased his entire past

>>Thinks Avengers fans actually wanted those characters taking over the book
I have never heard any complaint.

Victor on the Justice League, on the other hand...

The Justice League and the Avengers should both be a combination of big A-list solo book heroes, and B-tier heroes whose home title is that book. A 'Big 7' Justice League team or a team with Hawkman, Atom, Zatanna, Black Canary, and Red Tornado, and so is a team with Blue Beetle, Booster Gold, Fire, Ice and Guy Gardner, but you don't want a team with too many OCs and lower-tier new recruits.

>I have never heard any complaint.
Then you weren't paying attention. The general mediocrity and irrelevance of Waid's Avengers run meant few people were. For all the problems with the Bendis and Hickman Avengers, they were treated as important books people were paying attention to.

Avengers' readers relief at the kids leaving to form the Champions was also drowned out by reactions to just how impossibly bad Waid's Champions was.

>this is my main problem too , they erased his entire past
They erased all the TT pasts so why is that even an issue. It's not like anyone cared that much about comic Cyborg in the first place

I think that people that say that are just looking for an excuse to complain because Cyborg is obviously one of the most popular and well known DC characters out their when you take in consideration his TV and movie credits. Especially from Teen Titans Go! he's literally been on tv everyday for 7 years.

Yeah. I think that my main beef with DC too is that it seems like his time as a Teen Titans in comics didn't count. Deathstroke could also be a Cyborg villain since he kidnapped Sara Simms and also Brother Blood since he killed his girlfriend Marcy.

Elongated Man was in the JLA. How hard could the membership requirements be?

I'm more bothered by the fact that it takes Cyborg out of the Teen Titans.

Fuck off Tommy

>Elongated Man was in the JLA.
Fucking Congorilla was in JLA.

I can't see why Cyborg is the only one that gets people heated.

Cyborg became a JL member around the same time together with Nightwing and Troya. Nobody complained about it back then. People only complained about it after the reboot because they made him a founding member and erased his history with the Teen Titans.

I am cool with him being in the league. I just don't like his design. He look incomplete.

>He was only created 40 years ago!
THAT’S why he shouldn’t be in the League?

>They erased all the TT pasts so why is that even an issue.
nobody knew what was canon during the beginning of the N52 , some stuff had to be fixed by the trades

because they turned him from ab interesting multilayered character with his own hang ups and goals and into the team bus
thats all he;s done for the past 10 years
transport the league from location to location using stolen apokolpyes technology because they gotta tie everything to darksied

Wasp's team is Avengers, Cyborg's team is Teen Titans. OP is actually retarded and has no idea what he's talking about

Somewhere between the first two, like Young Justice did

>New Wasp is created in 2015
>Joins the Avengers in 2016
>"Yay, that's her team!"
