Shut up, Aku. No one likes you.

We don't know thats how time works. He could have created an alternate timeline where the future is still the same and now Aku is unopposed.

So what happened to the one he was just in?

People inspired by him rise up against aku

>undo the future that is Aku
No, the future was unmade along with all its inhabitants. You saw how Ashi disappeared, right?

The fix to this sort of ending is to show the new peaceful future. But hey it's tough to end a show in 22 minutes. No time for falling action/epilogue. They wasted too much time on the Jack/Ashii relationship. Should have cut one of those eps and made the finale a 2 parter.

And then what?

All those people who he helped saw Aku's broadcast, that Jack wanted to "return to the past and undo the future that is Aku" and they still helped him. They knew their entire history would be rewritten, and they saw that as a net positive. I don't love it, but it's hard to say that it was unearned or not set up, especially since it's in the intro of every episode.

No Ashi's erasure pretty much confirms there's one time line

Its not they were erased, they were simply never born to begin with. There are billions upon billions of living beings that will never be born. But in true TV fashion, memorable or important characters will still be born and exist when their time comes

>But in true TV fashion, memorable or important characters will still be born and exist when their time comes
This. No timeline alteration is going to stop the Scotsman from being born.

There is functionally no difference. Even if they are born, which they logically wouldn't be, they would be completely different people

Delusional. We literally see Ashi disappear. Jack killed Nonillions just so he could go home.
He’s the biggest murder in Zig Forums history.

All they needed was a 30 second montage showing the most popular future characters living peaceful lives in the new aku free future. This wouldn't satisfy the autists of course, but 99% of the audience would have been happy with that I think.

Well it was either that or cement the culture erasure and the deaths of nonillions who lived under Aku's rule.

>killed
Rewriting reality isn't killing, user. By that logic, Jack would have birthed nonillions by his actions.
>just so he could go home.
No, it's pretty clear that Jack wanted to erase Aku from the timeline and believed this is a net good. Which, I mean, it is.

Did you see the world they were all living in throughout the show?
Aku fucked the universe beyond repair and they all knew undoing everything he had done was worth the sacrifice.
Hell a lot of those people erased in the timeline may end up born anyways in the future but in an Aku free world.

This is true. The finale was rushed, and focused on the wrong thing. They should have focused on making the payoff to the story's central conflict work.

How come nobody ever brings this up? Life under Aku is so horrible that his allies would rather chance not existing than to continue living under him.

>The finale was rushed, and focused on the wrong thing
The goal was always get back to the past which he did, not the show's fault that your autism is triggered because you can't write slashfiction you fucking faggot

>shitty ripoff of Gurren Lagann ending with none of the things that made it work
I'm still mad

His goal was to undo the future that is Aku. What the fuck did you think would happen to everyone born in that future?

Because her life force was tied to Aku. Aku is deadm that is obvious and you dont get that because you are autistic. But luckly to you, i have the cure. Hit your head in the sharp end of a table as fast as you can and then drop formaldehyde into the opening while you are still conscious. It will also cure your fagness and the fact your father doesnt love you.

>All those people who he helped saw Aku's broadcast, that Jack wanted to "return to the past and undo the future that is Aku" and they still helped him.

Most of them died fighting Aku. If they still exist in the new timeline, they'll be alive since no Aku to kill them. If they don't exist, they were already dead, so there's no real difference.

How very Japanese of him.

Ripping off Zig Forums poorly is the best thing Zig Forums is capable of.

We literally don't know how the time travel works, so we have to go by how the show treats it. Jack never shows concern over the moral ramifications of going back to the past and undoing the future. The show never gives any meta indications (music/colors/etc) that going back is a bad or even questionable thing to do. This is magic time travel, not sci-fi time travel, so there is probably some destiny shit going on as well that keeps everything morally ok.

Ashi does disappear, but this could just be because Aku was killed instead of the timeline changing. Aku is an ancient evil on the level of gods, the rules for how it works when he's killed could easily be beyond mortal notions of cause and effect. Also, the final scene with the ladybug kind of implies Ashi lives on in some form.

>Hell a lot of those people erased in the timeline may end up born anyways in the future but in an Aku free world.

This is basically impossible. Even ignoring the immense change in society that would completely rewrite generational timelines, the sperm version of them would have to be produced and shot into their mom's coochie at the exact right time, and that's already an unfathomably low chance to begin with.

You cant empathize with people from your side in the world because you are a smelly nerd.

So, does Samurai Jack justify abortion?

It still didn't have enough time to fully realize that ending. Everything is so scrunched together.

Just kill yourself and move on
