Best girl in the show
In an alternate reality of what could have been or shouldn't have been.
Man this show was criminally underappreciated. Fantastic on so many levels
>unique character designs (though it edged into uncanny valley a few times)
>breathtaking visuals and environment design
>unique blend of 2D animation and CGI
After I finished this show I finally understood why everything in The Grid is blue. It matched my blueballs.
Uncanny valley only benefitted this shows sort of like Aeon Flux.
I was just watching it on my OLED and it's like it was made for that kind of TV. It just looks utterly fantastic.
The ambiguous season finale was a letdown and Disney canning the project was a terrible decision, but since they got their hands on Marvel, there's no incentive to try out other fictional universes when Marvel is reeling in all the big bucks.
I enjoy the greentexts some anons have made on how the story goes from the end of season 1. Most were pretty dark with bad ends, yet for a kids TV show, Tron: Uprising had a lot of mature themes and didn't shy away from killing (how convenient programs don't bleed and instead combust into small squares)
An even darker season 2 that leads back into Legacy
>CLU arrives in Argon
>The Uprising is really starting to get into gear
>Tron and Beck are mowing through blackguards and leading the underground
>CLU gives Tessler one final chance to bring order to Argon
>Tessler derezzes more and more Uprising programs, but can't find the Renegade
>Gets executed by CLU for failure
>Paige gets his job, increasing rivalry with increasingly deranged Pavel
>Side arc where Cyrus returns, does some existential stuff, but gets caught by CLU
>Gets derezzed by CLU, who doesn't give a fuck about his philosophy
>Midseason finale is Tron and Beck vs CLU and Dyson
>Tron sacrifices self to let Beck escape
>Tron murders Dyson in the process, but gets repurposed by Clu into Rinzler
>Beck and resistance find contingency plan that Tron left behind
>Get to Central I/O hub to contact the Users
>The entire Uprising, which is getting slaughtered in the streets, goes for a mad dash to the finish to send the message
>Secondary plot is Paige having doubts about Clu
>Culminates in Paige derezzing crazy Pavel, and flipping side's
>Finale is the last members of the Uprising getting to the I/O hub (maybe with a Zuse cameo)
>Everyone's getting derezzed
>Mara gets derezzed
>Zed gets derezzed
>Rinzler is sawing his way through the last of the Argon crew
>Beck stays back to hold him off
>Sends Paige to send the message to the Users
>Beck gets maimed, Rinzler hesitates, and doesn't finish it, lets Beck buy time
>Paige gets the page out, sends Tron's final message to his User, Alan Bradley's pager
>Paige gets derezzed
>Beck and Paige are surrounded, captured
>Last scene is punished Beck in the Games, getting pummeled by Rinzler
>sees Flynn's Arcade light up in the distance
Dropping my appreciation in the appreciation thread. Will continue to pray for season 2, despite the odds.
Adding my appreciation to the thread by posting this storyboard from season 2.

why doesnt disney infinity have the whole series?
>wake up to another day where tron 3 isn't announced
Why live
The pilot episode is on their YouTube somewhere. A ton of cartoons have missing episodes its fucking weird.
It's been almost 7 1/2 years since S1 finale, Zig Forumsmrades...
Cartoons were so good back then. The board was so good back then.
I’m beyond happy this thread exists. Fuck Disney for dropping this
Favorite Tron lines
>Get away from him, Kobol. DISC SOUND
>Even if it means you’ll be derezzed right now...
>You’re only alive for one reason, to deliver a message
And of course
>Good news: I’m healed. Bad news: I’m healed
Paige leads the revolution O_O
>~28 years between release of OG Tron and the Tron: Legacy remake
We might have a chance. If some of us can wait 30 years.
I would watch this eyes glued to my screen. Good job user
