>How does this work?
>It works like a community toy chest. In the /coc/ threads you are free to post whatever ideas/settings/characters you want, but you have to be OK with other people playing with them (tweaking them, putting them in stories, using them for things, etc.)
>There's no guarantee that what you post will catch on either.
>If the OC you are posting is YOURS for something you are personally doing, then it would go to the "How is your webcomic?" threads.
>If you just want feedback on an OC of yours, then it would go in the "donut steel" threads or drawthreads.

Right then, in for the slowest flavor these threads come in this week.
A slow simmer preserves the flavor.
I don't even know who the one in the OP image is, but I think it's cool.
When making the threads my preference is to use any new art from the previous thread as the OP.
But... the only new art from last thread looked a bit too risque to be the OP since I've seen threads deleted for far, FAR less.
So I picked Roller Darby at random to start the thread with.
Well, I like it
He certainly is fabulous.
I don't think he's ever been written getting someone to accept his challenges though.
Eh, you get what you get
Any interest in appropriating this OC idea?
What's the sale's pitch?
Triba is an Amazonian girl who loves having fun and adventure while discovering things about the outside world. With her pet crocodile as a bodyguard and friends including the children of an anthropologist, Triba eventually has to stop a Brazillian industrialist from trying to turn her jungle home into a capitalist concrete tourist spot. There's inexplicably a Discord already set up that I haven't checked out yet, a small mountain of fanart, and a schism over whether Triba should be canonically preteen or teenage
I think it has potential.
Feels a tad generic to me.
I was hearing an episode of The Official Podcast, one of the topics was Real Dolls, I started thinking about a doll villain, the villain itself could be a living doll or could make people into dolls, using a wind up key to make them obey.
The idea right now centers around a poor schmuck, a Doug Walker type, that lost his job, now living in the streets, with his only company being a coin operated fortune teller, talking to 'her', treating 'her' like a friend.
The machine starts communicating with him, and gives him the wind up key, whatever he uses the key on, person or object, gets possessed by whoever is inside the fortune teller, a limited time, depending on the number of turns.
What you think?
Didn't have much direction creating this character, just wanted to draw a really tall, skinny assassin lady
Well, you do you. It looks good.
Sounds like a spooky ghost story and her undoing will be eventually slighting or spurning the guy who then won't wind up the key again.
Shouldn't this be in /i/?
Shouldn't you have lurked moar before posting?

Fucking hell, he's here too.
No, you autist. /coc/ threads have been here for a long time.
any response outside of reporting his posts is only validating him
Oh wow.
So imagine someone gets a package in the mail, a medium to small package, not that heavy, but still pretty hefty.
They go to open it and inside they see this lady's head with her body all contorted around it to fit into the box. Her limbs unfurling like a spider's as she grabs her shocked victim to deliver the killing strike.
I hate to mention this, but the thought did cross my mind.
Roller Darby VS Golden Guardian in the 1970s.
Pissing off Billy since rock n' roll has more competition.
Do not leave the stove on unattended.
buncha kids just hangin around
they got elemental weapons an shit
they like
fight bad guys
also they can fuse or whatever
no forced multiculturalism or lgbt type shit
they fight monsters not their inner demons
except for one episode where one of the characters gets split in an experiment gone wrong into many different split personalities/emotions and they get him all back together except for anger/wrath and evil main character guy becomes a main villain or something
Spooky.
I like that idea
Gotta have spooky ideas for spooky looking characters.
