God no, I still miss her as a GL, especially with how retarded Venditti made her by the end of her arc in Hal and Pals.

Eh I wouldn't call them "Bad Guys" per se, because there was that Sinestro/Green Lantern Corp alliance not long ago. Sinestro just fucking sucks at recruitment because his criteria is "instill/feel great fear" which usually means fucking psychos and monsters. To his shock and no one else's surprise, they enslaved and fucked up his home planet.

For a story telling angle I could see the GLC begrudgingly accept a single Sinestro Corps member to be stationed in 2814 just to get him off their back.

Well again its not just about instilling fear, but feeling fear too. So hypothetically in another universe Jessica Cruz could have been a Sinestro Corps member I believe. Sinestro himself stated he is constantly afraid, afraid of being weak, afraid of not protecting his race, etc etc. Also on this topic I'm a bit disappointed we never had a short arc exploring Sinestro Corp Batman or Sinestro Corp Scarecrow.
