I like them both, but I prefer Kaine because he's more distinct from Peter than Ben. It's both a blessing and a curse that the two of them are in limbo right now. I was afraid that Ben would be killed off in Absolute Carnage, but he never even showed up, and neither he nor Kaine appear to be involved in the upcoming Sin-Eater story. They don't appear to be at risk of dying any time soon, but only because no one seems to want to use them any time soon.
