cant wait for the show to make Luz be on the right and her mother on the wrong when lying to her about camp and escaping to a deadly magical world is obviously wrong. This is going to be Connie's mom all over again, grown mothers allowing their daughters to go on deadly adventures that could hurt gravely and even kill them but being forced to accept it because "let them be weird!". I hate this shit so much in cartoons. I don't like this show but I will admit that if they go this route it wouldn't be that out of place. It would be the first actual twist to the genre by making the protagonist date the rival.
