Dog City

I remember this show from my childhood in the early 90's but I've never seen anybody talk about it? It was a live action/animated hybrid.

Puppets used to scare me as a kid

I think I remember an episode where he promised to give people double their money back if he didn't solve their case? Same show?

I can't remember anything from this show.

>one person animating entire show

So unrealistic

It was unique at least. I don't think there's any other show where a focus is the animator having conversations with his characters and having a say what happens to them and their world. Could be revisited sometime.

He also created waifu based on his neighbour.

Strong independent mother who needs no man.

Does Dog City make their rockets non-red because of association?

Happen to watch it on YTV?

We need more Zig Forums media characters we can relate to.

I remember that whatever the animator was thinking about that day would subconsciously affect his story, causing people to sometimes behave wildly out of character.

In particular, I remember the episode where the animator was super horny and kept having sexual fantasies, which in turn caused the normally man-hating female lead of his story to suddenly start acting like a cock-hungry slut out of nowhere.

The only sequence I really remember from this is when the bad boss guy was having a competition to see who could be the most senselessly violent, and tricks his rival into committing suicide, then turns to the camera and says "There's a fine line between senseless and stupid."

I still use that quote

And all her breasts grew three sizes that day. It was their highest rated episode.

Did it turn the kids watching into furries?

So he was a true animator after all.

Almost all his characters were people from his apartment building.

What is with her shoulders?!

It's not uncommon for cartoonists to base characters on people they know.

That's just a style of coat that women in the '80's believed would convey to men that they are serious professionals and should be treated as such.

>that episode about live radio play actors having accidents

the culprit was the sound effects guy who felt unappreciated

I rewatched it on YouTube. It has a weird dynamic with Elliot being both Ace's friend and attacking him to make his cartoon entertaining.

Honestly when Ace us dealing with crazy people or going crazy is the most entertaining the show gets.

Plot twist: Elliott is a schizophrenic.

More than a few believe in that concept, often in/ co/ related stuff when a female is in charge they gain shoulder pads.
