Apparently the main off of the show says Chloe supposed to be not-redeemab.But why exactly is she supposed to be not-redeemable?Most of her behaviour problems are probably because of how easy her Dad gives in to her to pointy abuses his position of power and her mom not being a while which is probably why her dad is so easy to give in to her. And she did have a good legitimate reason to be angry at ladybug when both of her parents are turn evil I'm being manipulated by hawkmoth. Her mom and dad taken some parenting classes and getting her therapy she most likely become a healthy adult.
Why exactly is Chloe supposed to be not-redeemable?
She's irredeemable because Thomas Astruc is a manchild who based her off some snotty popular girl that rejected him in high school and he has been unable to get over it.
>Show her resist akumitization through willpower
What was the point of that if she was just going to co-operate with Hawkmoth anyway? Chloe works better as a rogue anti-hero.
Someone who's a selfish person who takes advantage of people for her own self glorification, but who only does so because of her awful upbringing, is nevertheless a selfish person who takes advantage of people for their own self glorification. She's not cut out to be a superhero.
Marinette was been a bigger cunt on several occasions.
You know, irredeemable doesn’t mean that they won’t fight with the heroes against a common foe
Some of the best protagonists can be considered irredeemable by some, abs I genuinely hope they go for the anti-hero route
>bad people make for entertaining heroes
Cunt isn't Marinette's default. It's the exception, and she immediately tries to make amends when she realizes how much of a cunt she's been. Chloe is cunt from dusk to dawn, occasionally giving a half-hearted apology that she takes back almost immediately as she goes back to cunting. That's why Marinette gets to be a superhero (and the protagonist); she's mostly a good person, and tries to learn from her mistakes.
I guess to drive home how irredeemable she is. Aumatization victims aren't treated as villains since they are manipulated by the process. Her being able to resist it, but willfully working with Hawkmoth in theory makes her pretty vile. Not necessarily well-handled, though.
Sup Astruc
In "Miraculer" HawkMoth targeted Sabrina exclusively because Chloe provoked him. She not only revealed herself, but on every occasion was showing to the whole world how she doesn't care about it and how much she wants to have Miraculous because of that. It allowed HawkMoth to make an ambush for her.
Ladybug explained her why she can't have Miraculous right after danger of it was demonstrated to her. Chloe didn't care. HawkMoth knew it and he did the same thing in season finale. Chloe's parents being attacked was exclusively her own fault, her selfishness and refusing to listen to Ladybug.
Chloe is irredeemable because she doesn't want to be redeemed. She is fine with everything she has and has no reason to change her behavior.
In "Malediktator" she got a bit of self-awareness. She complained that people don't like her, she has no friends and she feels useless. It could've been a turning point for her but it didn't happen otherwise she wouldn't be in this situation in the first place. Instead of dealing with her awful attitude towards people she decided that she could make people like and respect her for being superhero. Chloe remained as she was. She didn't care that people around her could be target for HawkMoth attack. It ended as it should.
Chloe complained about having no friends but it was also a lie. She has Sabrina and Chloe just banished her a few minutes before this talk with Ladybug. Chloe never made an effort to be a friend to Sabrina which farther proves that actually Chloe wasn't improving as a person.
Chloe being irredeemable now just means that she doesn't want to change and no amount of coddling and good talk could help.
There is a big difference between these too occasions. In "Battle of Miraculous" Chloe decided to co-operate with HawkMoth willingly. For Chloe HawkMoth was an ally who could help her to achieve what she really wanted. There wasn't violation of will. Chloe wanted Miraculous power for selfish reason. At first she was allied with Ladybug because she thought that she could have personal gain from it. Chloe turned against her when she thought that working with HawkMoth is more profitable for her. Chloe never showed that she cares about protecting Paris. For her it was always struggle for fame, attention and recognition.
The creator is retarded and hates the fact that one of the most popular characters is the one that he made to be unlikable but since he's a shit writer he made her indering instead.
Chloe earnestly wanted to be a superhero and make an effort to be a better person, but Marinette was too stubborn to give her the opportunity.
>Chloe is irredeemable because she doesn't want to be redeemed.
That's great, we're putting a teenage girl on the same level of serial killers.
I can't agree with it. You can't look at all those dramatic scenes and background drops that excel by a mile what other characters have and claim that making her unlikable was Astruc's intention. It's the opposite. People pretend that they go against mainstream but in fact love for Chloe was carefully and extensively manufactured sometimes in detriment of other characters.
I got to admit her reason for stop giving Chloe A chance to be a superhero was kind of ridiculous when you can say that again any individual being attack is enough for ladybug and Cat Noir to instantly attempting do everything to say that individual stranger; It seemed like more of a excuse from the people from the people making the cartoon then actual good reasoning.
Chloe wanted to be superhero not a better person. Chloe could be a better person without being superhero but she doesn't want it. She instead wants fame and recognition even if it means that people who love her are going to be hurt. Marinette can't take from or give to Chloe any opportunity of being better person. Ladybug take Miraculous from Chloe because she has her duty as protector of people and Miraculous. She shouldn't put Chloe's selfish reason to substitute her being good person with magic over people's lives.
Yeah then explain why the creator proceeded to sperg out on twitter when someone says they like her.
It was done to prevent something like what happened in "Miracle Queen". It just couldn't be prevented because Chloe's thirst for Miraculous and Ladybug's duty to protect people are fundamentally incompatible things and something like this was going to happen sooner or latter.
He spergs out because they are harassing him demanding to rewrite script to justify her behavior.
He can just easily ignore them.
Wow making a popular show for teenages causes teenager to be autistic at you on twitter, OMG how amazing. Jesus just private your twitter.
But doing so did not stop that from happening in doing so made that happen.Chloe was significantly emotionally and mentally and statistically more vulnerable because her mom and dad would turn into a supervillain and see wasn't given a chance to do anything about it. Did make an actual effort to save people After her. Became the dictator when she had the chance of being a superhero.
HawkMoth in "Miraculer" also almost intercepted Bee Miraculous. More to it akumatized Miraculous holder are much more dangerous that usual akumatized villains.
No, they're not. Not so long as Ladybug's got thicker plot-armor than a fucking tank.
Chloe is unstable, prone to villainy and didn't want to change. It would just happen sooner or later.
Everything could be explained as plot armor. It's just fruitless talk.
>Chloe wanted to be superhero not a better person. Chloe could be a better person without being superhero but she doesn't want it. She instead wants fame and recognition even if it means that people who love her are going to be hurt.
This. This right here. Chloe wants fame and recognition, that's it. If she wanted to be a superhero for heroism's sake, she would have done somehing dumb like try being a hero even after her miraculous was taken away. Instead she embraced the dark side as soon as it as offered, since it was the next best path to per and fame available to her.
she's irredeemable because she does nothing to be redeemed
its not that she couldn't be redeemed, its that she won't be, she won't take the first step herself
I can't wait to see them reveal Chloe's replacement and everyone shitting on her for shitty replacement.
The replacement will probably be for one or two episodes, then she'll be dropped and the plot will give the Bee back to Chloe for some bullshit reason.
Not to be explained by another plot Point that logically doesn't really make any sense that she has to give anyone's besides her and the cat only get super powers on a one missing temporary basis. Even with her identity being publicven with her identity be in public. All they needed to do was just tell her to get a burner phone Call her whenever they think they need to help.
What a GRAND leap of a conclusion!
I hope so, it does sound like the bad writing they might pull.
