>While speaking to Empire, Jenkins said that Wonder Woman's island home of Themyscira could return in a new animated TV show. She offered no other details on the possible animated spinoff project, including if it would involve new or previously-established characters.
WONDER WOMAN THE ANIMATED SERIES IS MY DREAM! FUCK OFF PATSO!
Colton Stewart
It feels like WB/DC is stabbing their DCEU while shoving organs into it to keep it alive like Frankenstein's monster.
Joshua Parker
I would unironically get Noelle Stevenson to run it
Ian Wood
Oh yeah. Say what you will about some of the more "out there" shows like LoSH, JLA, Teen Titans, or the trio of The Batman/Brave and the Bold/Beware, but I respect those way more than Marvel's cartoons over the past 10 years because they felt like passion projects and not just MCU commercials.
Samuel Stewart
Grey delisle should get to play the role again
Luis Wilson
I would cast Ali Hillis
Jose Bennett
>If it's anything like the Aquaman thing, it'll only be 3 episodes and go to HBO Max. Seems that WB is take the MCU tactic
Mason White
The Wonder Woman TAS will be related to the movies as much as Batman TAS was a tie-in to the Burton movies
First post is succinctly put and dare I say, the best post, currently, in the thread Here's hoping
Logan Cook
I barely even watch DC cartoons anymore. They’ve been total ass for the better part of the last 10 years really. That early portion of the 10 years being the exception.
Colton Jenkins
what was the last DC animated show that was an extension of the movies?
Aaron Nguyen
That’s a good looking Wonder Woman
Elijah Kelly
Not the movies, but there was that Vixen animated series that was based in the same universe as the CW shows. And that Constantine direct-to-video movie I think too.
Eli Thompson
This. Every marvel cartoon has far exceeded ANY of the DC animated counterparts. I can't even name one DC cartoon that was remotely watchable.
Mommy Jenkins would've made a better WW than Gadot.
Dylan Young
Into the Spider-Verse doesn’t make up for the utter steaming shit that Marvel Animation has been this decade.
Matthew Bennett
Damn I hope it will be good. If it ties in the movies it may have similarities with the way I would want a WW series. Diana travels the world to get to know it and mostly deals with street level problems. Mine would have her depowered too (at least for a while) but I guess that would be too boring for the superhero audiences.
>the one that made Wonder Woman kill random soldiers is the one they want for a TAS I hate this timeline
David Morgan
You are aware that it's perfectly valid to kill soldiers in a warzone, right?
Henry Adams
>You are aware that it's perfectly valid to kill soldiers in a warzone, right? Not for Wonder Woman. Since the golden age she was all about not killing, even before Superman and Batman. Wonder Woman killing is an heresy, she should be about redeeming at cost of her own life. Her killing someone randomly would also make her killing Maxwell Lord just another kill
