2020....I am forgotten
Did anyone like the sister?
The worst Toon Disney cartoon.
With the big head?
Honestly I don't even remember much about this show aside from the trans episode, which even as a kid I guess stuck with me considering almost 20 years later it's on my mind. It was a pretty bold move considering trannies were still openly being mocked and ragged on in media at the time.
Didn’t Ding Dong appear in that show?
Its better off that way.
They modeled a character after him
Now that you bring it up I remember it, the main episode I remember is the one where they basically talk about how important garbage men are.
I liked how this show had an all-male group of friends rather than shoehorning in a token girl like most other shows. Being around Lloyd's age when it was on, I thought that was a lot more realistic.
It's been forgotten since as early as 2005 really.
And as a little girl I still watched the series anyway
The episode that stuck with me is the one where his mom fires the office nimrod, and it turns out the nimrod was doing all the small tasks around the place.
I guess they're saying you have to be a moron to know how to change light bulbs and water plants.
Really great message!
>his friend group didn't have a girl
no wonder you're still a virgin
Are you still a little girl? Asking fro a friend...
Eh more like appreciate every cog in the machine cause you never know just how shit might break down if you just start tossing everything out.
Or there are some jobs where if the employee is doing their job properly you'll hardly notice they're doing anything at all. Tech jobs kinda fall in this category if you're just maintaining IT needs in a facility or something. Nobody will know if you're doing your work or not, but if something breaks it looks like you're slacking; even though it was 1 issue that slipped past the 99 you took care of.
From Recess' creators. Talk about a downgrade.
I think it was just a different style of show. Zanier for sure (set in both space and the future), and centered on a single character instead of an ensemble cast. I still remember it fondly enough and would be happy to rewatch it some time.
The two episodes I vaguely remember are the one with the love ray and the one where the brain and the purple dude become master blaster
Only episodes that I can remember are
> . . . ?
I’m shocked Lloyd’s fat purple friend was literally Patrick, Nickelodeon was probably pissed about that.
I actually watched a bunch of episodes of it recently, and it's a pretty wholesome show. Shame about it being forgotten
One episode I remember in particular was the one where they befriend a larvae and changes into a Chad fly after being in a cocoon but he starts acting like a jerk to Lloyd and his friends till they reveal to everyone that he throws up on his food to eat it prompting everyone to think of him as a loser from before and Lloyd and his friends forgive him after he apologizes for acting like a dick.
My favourite thing about Lloyd in Space threads is that everyone can remember one, and only one, episode each; and every one of them is so ridiculous that it sounds made up.
Anyway, my episode is the one where Lloyd goes to the future, where it turns out that a virus has transformed everyone on the station into monsters. His friends get infected, and then Lloyd spends the next fifty years in a bomb shelter slowly going insane while his former friends taunt him, until he throws the door open; intending to kill himself over dying alone.
Then it turns out the whole thing was just a telepathic prank his sister was playing on him for a minor slight, and everyone laughs at Lloyd for falling for it.
The episode I remember is the one where I think it was revealed that Lloyd and that yellow (I think) girl had a romantic history and they carved their initials on a tree. I don't remember how it ends exactly, but there was some memory loss on Lloyd's part resulting in the yellow(?) girl having unrequited feelings and leading to her acting like a huge bitch.
The one I remember was his antennae would suddenly become erect in random situations, broadcasting his weird imaginary friends, making everybody laugh at him. This was revealed to be a stage of puberty in his species, so basically he had a boner on his head
>That episode where Lloyd is suspicious of his moms new boyfriend and it turns out he actually is a monster wearing a mask, but his mom already knew that and Lloyd was pretty much just being racist
>That episode where Lloyd pretends to be a girl to get into a slumber party, and when he's discovered actually manages to talk his way out of it
The episode I remember is one involving time travel
He does something dumb that annoys his crush, like going into the classroom at the wrong time causing him to knock into somebody and spill a drink on his crush, so he time travels to tell himself to avoid going into the room. This new future he has made has him win the girl, but lose his friends, so he time travels again to stop himself from stopping himself.
It keeps repeating until there are so many Lloyds in this eventuality that they push the past Lloyd into the room, sparking the incident that happened in the first place.
I can remember two episodes
The one where Lloyd and friends uses his sister's powers to enter a fighting tournament but she gets tired near the end and they have to be saved by their parents
And the one where the smart friend and big guy form a partnership but then they start fusing together or something weird
The entire classroom gets ejected into space on a collision course with the sun. Roboteacher is shut down so cant help. Things happen. Lloyd does the hero thing and goes out in a fishbowl to manually reset the classroom back into the space station.
The other one is where he accidentally time travels back to make himself cool. His present self is a cool kid, but alienates his former friends. He fixes everything in the end.
Or the Space-Hanukkah episode where Lloyd americanizes his racial religion to look cool but learn the true meaning of alien christmas.
Or the goddamn clip show. Don't temember much about it, but there was one.
The only one I can recall is the one where Lloyd has to make a science experiment for the fair, but he doesn't know what to do so he just does some dumb Petri Dish thing but it evolves into a giant mass that eats everything so they eventually take it into a planet made of food to live off.
