finding the right voice actors for these characters would be a tough one. the comics are implied to be set in america but simon writes with so much australian slang and syntax, especially with wwj, that it'd be weird doing a 1:1 copy of the dialogue with an american VA

Man, asking for adaptations of any thing now seems like a straight up monkey's paw proposition.

I can think of a number of books and comics that could be easily adapted, but I'd hate to see how they'd be butched.

I honestly wouldn't be surprised by something like that. Hell, I'm still half expecting Amazon's Lord of the Rings show to have half it's cast be black, and for there to be an 8 minute scene In which Frodo and Sam lay around naked bantering after having sex.
As someone who really who actually wants to create good content and tell good stories, modern mainstream North American 'creative' industries fucking infuriate me.
