>It's OK to make a cartoon just a mouthpiece for your political opinion as long as I agree with it

I really appreciate that episode of PPG and sincerely wish their version of feminism had come out on top.
The irony of shitty body negative neo-feminism removing ms keane's breasts in the reboot is pretty intense. Remember kids, the female body is filthy and inherently sexual and belongs under a burka.
Alexander Barnes
It's really tragic how the people originally behind this have probably felt the need to apologize to the new feminist wave.
Equality is dead.
Hunter Perry
They would call this Rape, Racist, Sexist, & Somehow Pedo.
Oliver Foster
She was sexy af.
I mean, you can see where they're coming from though, right? The more liberal/lefty angle is super prevalent and it's a bit rarer that they see their own views. Everyone is gonna go easy on things they agree with.
Wyatt Martinez
When I watched this as a little girl I thought she made valid points so the ending didn't sit well with me. That feeling was right considering this episode is "staw feminism" incarnate.
Juan Torres
Look who's talking
Nicholas King
Give it a couple of years and you may see tranny cartoons being violently anti-feminist to a much higher degree
Connor Mitchell
But Slade actually is a huge pedo and probably a rapist. He isn't racist or sexist however since he was willing to equally molest a white boy, a white girl and a grey skinned half demon girl.
Joshua Richardson
Yes. Fuck gays, fuck women, and fuck you.
Tyler Brown
Well, If you say so
Cooper Peterson
>t. feminazi
Luke Edwards
It's ironic that it's all the rage to be against terfs, but those same people still get assblasted if you say all radfems are shit - which is what that episode was saying. Feminism is fine but fuck radfems. ALL of them.
Nicholas Roberts
Lol just admit you got btfo and leave
Hunter Phillips
Valid points? Her whole schtick was "Being a shitty burglar and terrorizing Townsville is ok because women are oppressed"
Landon Harris
And the ppg basically told her "No, activists did what they did because it was right, not so you could rob banks asshole"
Samuel Hughes
>not cyborg
it's because he's black, isn't it?
Charles Sullivan
It's because he's part robot.
Noah Campbell
double racist
Andrew Wright
>activists did what they did because it was right
They should have said 'believed what was right'.
Because they ain't always right.
Andrew Lopez
The story's message was about not playing the opression card to escape punishment. today it she would be portrayed as being in the right. I think that's why the writer said she regretted it, she's updated her beliefs.
basically we've drifted away from equal treatment and moved onto equity.
Julian Campbell
>I think that's why the writer said she regretted it, she's updated her beliefs.
She said she regretted it because the mob was coming after her and her response was something along the lines of "maybe the issue was too complex to try to tackle in 11 minutes".
Sebastian Perry
But the episode was pro-feminism.
She was shown to be an asshole for using her gender and faux-feminist position as a shield for her crimes.
It resonates far more strongly now.
Gabriel James
> episodes that won't be made today
>project his own failings onto others
you sure showed me
Angel Jackson
Naw, I just jumped in to be a cunt.
Chase Evans
sad to hear.
Hunter Miller
There’s a difference between politics and moral lessons.
Ryan Green
Isn't still fine to make fun of Karens though?
Chase Price
They would NEVER allow this today
Isaiah Howard
This. It was feminism done right.
Levi Jones
>Female superheros aren't nearly as revered as male superheros
>Sure there are! There's supergirl, batgirl-
>Psh, they're so lame. Merely extensions of their male counterparts. Who beside you is a hero in their own right?
>Hah! There's Wonderwoman and... uh... um.. Wonderwoman?
Had to rewatch for the exact working but I still remember this moment 20 years later cause as I was a kid it was something that bothered me. Being a girl that liked action cartoons and always seeing the girl characters get shafted sucked. Things are better now though, which of course Zig Forums endlessly complains about. But I'm happy for kids today.
