Who was best in their prime?

Optimus.

CN was. I will now allow the thread to devolve into shitposting over which era was "prime".

Cartoon, just for their musical videos.

No, Nickelodeon was. The thread will now devolve into out of touch whining.

Nickelodeon had both good cartoons and live action shows in the '90s. Cartoon Network started off as a Hanna Barbera and Warner Bros. vault / archive. They did not get original shows until the late '90s (as good as they are). Disney was hit or miss, but most of the older Disney Afternoon line up were good and long running 65 episodes shows.

In their prime? I guess Cartoon Network, but just barely. Nick comes close.

Today? Disney hands down

Cartoon Network if we are including Adult Swim. Otherwise, Nick between '05-'08.

Fuck off canada nobody cares about the french cartoons.

>Nick
>05-08
>Prime
If you think that you're a Zoomer. Nick's prime was around 1991-1997. 2005-2008 was weak except for Avatar; by that point they were coasting on endless Spongebob reruns and couch potato teen diva sitcoms.

Disney Afternoon didn't even originally air on the Disney Channel, you rube, you buffoon, you fucking ignoramus

For me nothing will ever really be able to compete to that era that CN had the early class of Cartoon Cartoon shows, along with shit like Justice League and Samurai Jack

Who cares about the french? We're talking grade-A Vancouver CGI.

I don't have one of these for Disney, I can't find old schedules of theirs and they showed a ton of third party stuff until about 1998.. Also their history isn't really categorized in "eras".

reboot and beast wars always looked like shit though
DKC was passable if anything

Why is Disney even in the running?

One great show is better than a dozen good ones

CN

That doesn't mean the channel was at its biggest though which is the topic at hand

CN created Space Ghost Coast to Coast in their prime. The others didn't. CN wins by default.

Mid 00s disney channel had a gargantuan cultural footprint . not entirely cartoons though

Cartoon Network. Nickelodeon and Didney Channel always played shitty live action sitcoms instead of actual cartoons.

>Hating All That
>Hating Thats So Raven
>Hating Clarissa explains it all
>Hating Double dare

zooooonee

Probably CN. Their prime lasted much longer, from about 98-04 and they were still decent up until about 07.

1980s-1995 = Disney Channel

1995-1999 = Nick

1999-2005 = CN

all went to shit after that

>Nickelodeon's prime

>1991-1997
In the 2000s Nickelodeon had all of that plus new stuff like SpongeBob, Fairly OddParents, Jimmy Neutron, Danny Phantom, Avatar, Zim, Teenage Robot, Catscratch, El Tigre, Drake & Josh, iCarly, Victorious, Big Time Rush and more

What musical videos?
