Why is Disney pushing cartoons about girls so hard recently? Have boys stopped watching cartoons? I know Disney Channel stuff has always skewed towards girls, but their cartoons were always more neutral and you had plenty of stuff like Dave the Barbarian or American Dragon to balance out the girly stuff.

Just following trends. When is the Studio Mir action shota series coming out?

Disney Channel's main age group is 6-11 tween girls, so they cater to that specific demographic. Disney XD was supposed to be a channel for boys programming until they completely killed that premise five years after its existence.

>Only girls can watch girl cartoons

She's CUTE.

Probably just virtue-signaling

Because they are more borried about being "inclusive" than anything else.
Pd: they arent inclusive, they just show minorities everywhere to keep leftists airheads teen girls on their side.

This
FFS most people that watch moe anime are dudes

The creator wanted a girl.

>spats
nice.

They realized their target group isn'tk ids but pedos, coomers and 4channers

Because they get to have the appearance of not hiring via nepotism if they just make random girls showrunners and then go, "SEEEE? WE GOT FLAK FOR ONLY HAVING ONE SHOW EVER RAN BY A WOMAN, BUT NOW WE HAVE THREEEEE MORE!".

>>Only girls can watch girl cartoons

For ages 6-11 this is probably true. Getting young boys to watch a cartoon about a girl is possible, but quite difficult. Establishing gender identity is quite important at that age. Also, many shows aimed at girls tend to be filled with subliminal and overt man-bashing. Boys can see this and quickly tire of it.

Two rare counterexamples: Beetlejuice - Lydia is the co-lead, but with no boys her age, the dynamic is always kid-vrs-adults. And Ladybug - which doesn't man-bash but has other problems.

They realize boys no longer think girls have cooties and will watch a girl show if it has action in it, especially if the girl is cute. But girls aren't interested in action shows about boys. So simple market reasons.

Whatever do you mean?

The real answer is that young boys isn’t a marketable demographic anymore for tv. The first sign of that was the death of action cartoons with toy lines. Think about it, most boys 6+ are playing some type of video game or watching someone else play a video game as their main source of entertainment, so instead of being retarded and trying to gain back a uninterested market (see the Disney XD gaming show), they realized they could market to the other 51% of the population and thus marketed towards and made more shows for little girl to watch. And having female showrunners is just a lil bonus PR. It’s simple as that

Now that I think about it, most boys I know nowadays are into gaming

Girl cartoons are cuter and have more
appeal for boys and girls. Boys are off playing video games or something if they wanna see cool male leads

>Have boys stopped watching cartoons?
kids stopped watching cartoons, they watch Roblox lets plays.

here's the male version of the show, user

ftfy

It's true though. Boys would rather play video games.

she's going to be a lesbian isn't she?

Boy's have easier time self inserting with people who don't physically resemble them then girls. That's why only women want fat superheroes while men don't give a shit.

Not true. I watched totally Spies as a kid, and it wasn’t cuz I was jacking off. I also liked Juniper Lee, Hi Hi Puffy Amy Yumi, and fucking the Mighty Bee

boys don't have the same attention span they used to. they're being bombarded with loot boxes and microtransactions and battle royales, every other youtube video is pushing raid shadow legends to them too so they're learning gatcha reward systems, they just don't have time to watch cartoons. they must consoom.

This but unironically for 6-11 year olds.

Well boys going on adventures was the big thing the past ten years so I'm fine with this. Although it does look really generic.

Teen Titan, The Justice League and Voltron wants to have a word for you.

Lolicons

Fujos aren't people.
