Magic. the killing curse would auto-kill supes, before getting into other magical spells he could use.

Any magician is basically a guy with a kryptonite super power vs. him.

But he still has to say the magic words, and point a wand at him.
Sure, it’s “undodgeable” in the books because it’s an instant flash of light, but it still has to be lined up, so it’s technically something you could dodge in the sense of realistically “dodging” a bullet.

True, but superman has a bad habit of not speed blitzing anyone that's superdurable: Otherwise it should be literally impossible for Deathstroke or Batman to beat him. (or the many people who've shot him with kryptonite bullets)

Even then its funny, he rarely speed blitzes enemies who are strong but not super fast and should auto-lose against him if he did.

Well, that’s mostly because he’s got a lot of restraint, isn’t it?
But if he knows this guy has a magic spell that instantly kills anything in a general direction, or however it works, he’s not going to just stand there, he’s going to at least move out of the way, unless maybe it’s a situation where that risks somebody else getting hit, in which case he has to figure out a way to prevent that too.

I think Superman would just dodge the killing curse. By the book's logic they move surprisingly slow, enough that you can apparate away to doge them or interpose a statue to block them.

Magic can hurt Super IF he gets hit with it. A spell you need to point and yell will be of little use against someone faster than a speeding bullet.

It seems like in most media, Supes tries tanking the first attack someone launches at him.

Not disagreeing with your larger point of Superman's evasion, but it should be pointed out, Voldemort can cast the killing curse non-verbally.

You have a point but Harry Potter's magic need to be horribly telegraphed in order to be used. If we assume Superman is already aware of his weakness to magic it would be easy to guess he'll be alert not to be touched by any spell that he can identify. And boy does the unforgivable curses are easy to spot.

Who cares? The fact someone can beat Superman makes it even better when he overcomes it

A chance, sure. Given Superman has no special guards against magic, it basically becomes two glass cannons fighting. Either can kill the other in one successful hit, but I'd still give the edge to Superman based on speed alone.

That will give him a bit of pause when he perceives Voldemort. It would probably look pretty ugly.

They really ramped up what wizards could do in the movies: In prisoner of azkaban (or was it Phoenix cup? I forget which) they had those 3 death eaters flying around in some sort of energy form and tearing bridges up just by their flight.
