I'd say Eskimos are.

Eskimos arent native americans?

We can count First Nations as well.

That's not how you sp-
You know what, you're right.

Still, want to complain about how no one gives a fuck about Pacific Islanders, especially "my" island.

What island?

Underrepresented? No.
Positively represented? Yes.

Tonga. I say "my" 'cause I have about as much cultural claim to it as a 2% Frenchie has to baugettes, but I still wish it existed beyond like 2 movies about a surfer and a third about mormons.

There aren't many left. Like people from the Isle of Mann

yeah

More like hard to find representation of them that is not associated with 'Traditions'

I was always taught they were different but the American education system is notoriously retarded.

Ones that don't whose designs don't involve headbands, facepaint , leather or jeans are near impossible. Only one I can think of that doesn't met any of these off the top of my head is Joseph from king of the hill

I thought Eskimos were an Anarctica thing

His last name is Native American. It’s likely he is too.

I'd like to answer your question, OP, but I have reservations.

ayyyyyy gold star

Native American characters always have to be heavily branded as "traditionalist and stoic" for some reason and all it does is make the native american people as a whole seem simple and one tracked.
Would love to see a native american character that didn't focus on heritage.

Also i know they arent a race but Gingers are really getting their teeth kicked in from hollywood "reimagining" their character when in reality they just don't want to cast a redhead.

Fox had a group of Native Americans serial killers in the show "Millenium" but that's live action.

yeah he mentions going to a pow-wow in passing.

Joseph is part jamacian bro

I don't think ethnicity counts as a demographic. If it did it would have serious ethical ramifications.

Arctic. Antarctica is south

Probably. Americans, who run the entertainment industry, are doing their best to erase them from popular culture

How do you feel about Longshadow?

Real gingers won't show up on film on account of them not having souls. Casting outside of that demographic is simply a necessity.

Is the water tribe and brother bear the only real representation the eskimos ever got?

Only ones I can think of.

Somehow there aren't even any notable characters in fighting games like Street Fighter or Tekken, and they generally have the most diverse cast of characters.

There is a video game called Never Alone about an Inuit child on an adventure with their arctic fox companion, and it's basically just a game which serves as an educational puzzle game where your prize is mini documentaries about Inuit folklore and culture.

This is rather obsolete. The issue is due to silver halide used in photographic film. As a holy material, silver does not render images of unholy things like vampires or gingers, whether through reflection of absorption. However, modern camera work is pretty much all digital, which uses entirely different materials. They show up just fine on modern equipment.
