I like how the relationship between the two isn't actually that hostile: Kwar is capable of not smiling yet he smiles while he and Teff trades insult, making it feel more rivals calling each other names than enemies.

Correction; he WAS the same age as her, but then she was about to hit puberty (the crotch burning incident) and he put her to sleep for a decade.
While Teff was sleeping, BV grew up. He deliberately halted her aging process so that he could keep her as a forever child-bride in her new doll body.
