The sad part is that during Civil War he did pretty much the opposite with his Guantanamo bay building, that made all of the "villains" kept in solitary(or strapped down to a wall for their entire stay) feel horrible at all times because of the negative zone influences, all just to make sure they'd be faster with signing the papers that made them the state's good little soldiers.

He's theoretically friends with the original O5 dudes, but they never hang out with him, outside of Jean.

He and Storm are supposed to have strong respect for each other as team leaders, but again, very little fraternizing

Wolverine might've been a candidate for a love/hate friendship but now they're hole buddies.

I don't know if Scott Summers is capable of platonic love. He's either gotta make it physical or incorporate it into some sort of fucked up pseudo-family thing.
