Or has she-ra destroyed the series reputation by association?
So is there any chance of a good he-man series now

do you... want to have an actual discussion on the upcoming he-man series, or do you just want to bitch about a show you never actually watched?
AND HE PRAYS!
Discussion here.
I would want something more like the 2002 series or the 80s live action movie. They CAN do the series properly in a non-camp way.
If they make it, expect everyone to be gay.
She-Ra was a good show and I wouldn't mind at all if He-Man got the same treatment.
He-Man was absolutely awful back in the day.
Whatever you think of the She-Ra reboot, I don't see how it's going to substantially affect either of the new He-Man shows
The new one had SJW shit out the wazoo.
He-man was never good.
ITT salty She-males
gays existing are not SJW. go rant about it in the 5 existing She-ra threads
Triggered.

Can they? You're two examples suggest they absolutely can't.
Zoophiles and necrophiles exist but that doesn't mean children need to watch cartoons about them.
I watched the show and still found it shit. Give up this stupid argument. Zig Forums is full of people that watches stuff they hate.
it depends who makes it
if its the people who made she-ra
then no it'll be pretty bad.
if it was someone who isn't part of this really weird new crop of animation people that have popped up in the last 10 years then it would be good.
Zig Forums doesn't need to watch show in order to hate it you know that.
Zig Forums also absolutely watches less than it lets on. I suspect it mostly just hates things without ever consuming them.
the 2002 series wasn't camp. they tried to play it pretty straight.
>tried
And failed.
I disagree.
Honestly, this.
He-Man, and pretty much all things Filmation, including shit outside He-Man, like Bravestarr and Ghostbusters, was all pretty goofy at best. Even as a kid, I watched the show, but never really cared for it. I liked Silverhawks and Thundercats way more, and even back then I wondered why everyone talked in such a weird and stilted manner.
He-Man was never good. It could be interesting to see a reboot with some effort put into it, but modern reboots are just a disappointment, so I really can't be bothered to hold my breath on it. If it happens, we'll see what it is, but I'm not betting anything on it for multiple reasons.
Dyke-Ra’s actually managed to dredge the franchise back up from obscurity, it’s the only thing to come out if it in a decade discounting the DC comics.
Mattel seems to be going about things like nothing has changed, and they are the main ones footing the bills that make future production happen.
This is objectively the best thing that came from the He-Man show. And not even to its detriment.
Yeah, I genuinely love that video.
Better than the original song too.
It's too bad He-man didn't get Space Ghost or Sealab 2021 treatment back when that was a thing.
Even the Robot Chicken skits were pretty decent.
Yeah, that about sums it up.
latinos did it first

When was this originally from? The Four Non Blondes one is from 2005.
