Yeah, that was one of the better ones.
It helps he had a philosophy writing them. Shock kids and creep them out but not actually scare. Don’t trigger them, keep things fictional rather than go to far into plausible things that could happen to them like child molesters or abusive parents. It forced him to be far more creative.
