So... when does this get good? These action scenes suck ass and so do the characters

Just watch an actually good show like Avatar

TTG is equally as shit and their shills should be ashamed, you are old ass anons wasting time watchign something poorly animated and full of shitty songs to sell more CDs to little kids, haha.

I've already seen it. Was hoping this show would be even close to as good.

when they change the art style and writing and make it an entirely different show

Teen titans doesn’t hold up overall. It’s fondly remembered for the characters humor and atmosphere as well as several exceptional episodes, specials, and the movie.

Well. that didn't took long:

It was awesome when I watched it... in grade school.

It holds up fine, this board is just contrarian as hell, they like crap such as Steven Universe after all.

That's Teen Titans Go! you are thinking about, the silly show for tiny toddlers.

If you're teenager you're gonna instantly like it. The humor is cringe, so is the terrible dialog. The action scenes were weak and the characters weren't been that great either. Again i watched this shit when i was a teenager and i liked it. But when i tried to rewatch it a year ago, i saw how bad it was lol

So.. it's basically Avatar, then?

Ehh Avatar kinda holds up better because of the Arystyle and more likeable cast. Also i liked fight scenes in Avatar more

You can dislike ATLA but you’ve got to admit it’s night and day between ATLA and Teen Titans’ action scenes.

It gets good when you watch it at 6-10 years old, which is why it has such a big fanbase. It was baby's first pseudo-anime and opened the door for a lot of kids in the oughties.

Teen Titans Go is better

It's shit. The only enjoyable thing about this series is Slade, but he's just a cool voice not an actual character.
>and more likeable cast
Where? With the exception of Iroh I wanted to strangle every single character.

The only reason people liked this was because of the characters. Plot was meh level

The only good characters on Teen Titans were Raven and somewhat Slade (also kinda Jinx). Avatar had Zuko, Aang, Toph, Azula was ok, Iroh was great etc. Also it has good story and great finale that many shows nowadays missing

>Zuko, Aang, Toph, Azula
All of those were shit.

Taste this shit? Impossible

If you guys hate it, then it's probably alright.

When Raven got a lot of fanart. Show sucked, TTG is better just because it became ATHF for kids.

Yours? Yes. Yes, it is.
I can't imagine who kind of shit taste it requires to like the godawful characters you named, especially cuntzula.

Sounds like TeenTitans Go is just for you user. Randumbness all around to keep your attention.

I like both. I feel like both shows had solid writing for their characters. I liked Avatar for it's strong worldbuilding and drawing me into it's world as well as it's tonally serious character building. But at the same time I liked Teen Titans for keeping it's world building relatively loose and just focusing on whatever weird antics the characters found themselves in most self contained episodes.
Ultimately I do feel like Avatar had better storytelling and action but Teen Titans felt like it had the more fun cast of characters to play around with. Each one had noticeably different yet distinct personalities which made it interesting to see how they all played off each other.

Speaking of Avatar and Teen Titans, anyone hate those moments where they're clearly aping anime during their comedic moments? You know what I'm talking about.

Even as a dumb kid I cringed so hard when they tried to do the superdeformed chibi shit.
If modern animation does anything better than 2000's animation, it's keeping the anime references strictly to references instead of trying to imitate the style and always falling short.

For Avatar I think it worked better since they had stylized expressions throughout, and even when it did happen it still suited the style.
When Teen Titans did it, it was like a chard cut to a drastically different style and was much more jarring as a result

avatar didn't aired in my country, teen titans was ok show, i never watched teen titans go and i don't think i ever will
