People dying off screen
A very good plot that's mired by incredibly cheesy dialogue.
If you could keep everything and re-dub what the characters are saying, the show could rival Avatar for greatest "boy saves the world" cartoon.
I wanna die
>show can be found in better quality in French
Which ep has Max's gal pal in a swimsuit, I wanna get caps.
episode 9 or 10
hot fucking damn
full screenshot?
colors look brighter than the VHS rips that I commonly see
They're most probably ripped off from the tv airings
the VHS rips you're talking about?
You didn't lie, I'm 5 episodes in and like 7 people have died already
I don't know what I'm talking about I just wanted to talk to someone :(
Skullmaster sounds like a huge pussy. You can't not have Tim Curry as Skullmaster.
I believe you meant Skéloféros
I've been obsessed with getting better quality of this. There was never a DVD release. What's out there online are fucking horrible VHS rips. I made a document tracking down who holds the rights to the show which were a mess for years. Now one place has the rights and refuses to release it to the public.
for a month, I contemplated going to an old TV station in my state that used to run it and see if they still had the tapes. but i suspected there was little chance of that. it's been over 20 years since it was broadcast on TV.
Who owns Mighty Max now?
Mattel I guess?
I wish the fucking "restoration project" did real restoration and not fucking

>About to watch [insert show name here], what am I in for?
Retarded question, just watch it and find out for yourself. Or do you really want to get spoiled so badly?
You are in for a solid children's horror/adventure series, with a few cool sci-fi episodes.
Mighty Max has a lot of things going for it:
>Awesome supporting characters
>Cool adventures
>Cheesy 90's protagonist, with attitude
>The best single mother in action cartoons
>Really cool monster designs
>Some genuinely creepy concepts and ideas. (One of the best takes on a vampire I've ever seen)
>Tim Curry voicework
>One of the best series finales of the 1990's. Not just 90's cartoons, but the whole damn 90's.
Come on Ian, get to drawing again.
