This is absolutely the silliest thing that has happened this year. It may be the silliest thing in comics, period. I cannot think of anything sillier than a Batman and Joker fusion from another universe putting his brain in a Batman and Dr. Manhattan fusion from yet another parallel universe, to then disintegrate a robotic Batman/T-rex fusion from another parallel universe upon waking up, and then turning into a Batman/Joker/Manhattan/Venom mashup and proceeding to menacingly lick the Watchmen button. If Alan Moore was in a grave, he'd be rolling in it.

He's a pre-crisis Kryptonian without a weakness to magic or kryptonite (from this universe), so it makes sense he'd beat up pretty much anyone. Besides, Prime was always a joke character. He was meant to be mocked.

Thanos was turning into an all powerful being for fun ever since his early years.

He is not bad. Joker is the top DC villain, Batman is the top DC hero, AUs exist, Amalgams exist, a story with Batman and the Joker together makes sense. It's a good character idea.
The problem is making him a cosmic multiversal nightmare. Dropping from his universe to Gotham and nearly breaking it apart, needing Bruce and J to team up to kick him back to his universe, yes.
Being a dark parallel to Batman who needs to fight back his worst impulses and temptations to not stoop to his level, yes.
Hell, even being hailed as a champion of Gotham's underworld by all other rogues, with only Joker considering him a problem, sure. All good.
But.
Cosmic multiversal threat? Nah. It was a shit choice and it misused him badly.
