Did anyone else think her VA was black for the longest time?

Missed opportunity to give a VA job to an orange person.

no

Yes, I only learned she was white when I saw her photo in some article.

...

What does fashion have to do with this?

OP posted the thread on /fa/ before posting it here

The pumkinites are already overrepresented in the media.

Ahsoka needs to stop drinking bronzer.

OP what are you wearing?

No, because she doesn't talk like a black.

>Ahsoka is naturally bone white, but spends 90% of her free time sunbathing.

I literally never thought about it and was surprised to hear so many people did think that.

Wait, is this a common thing? Is it just because she looks black?

Everybody shut up and let's try to figure out what Ahsoka's season is.

The only thing you might possibly associate with stereotypically black features is her incredible DSLs

Nothing else about her """reads""" as black which is an insanely racist thing to try and define

Coincidentally the only problem I have with Rosario Dawson playing her is that it's not Ashley Eckstein herself playing Ahsoka

Ahsoka looks like mystery meat, so the fat lips and skin tone not too far off from a dark skinned human are enough to latch onto and think "black". Lots of actual blacks don't look stereotypically black, but just black enough to tell.

That's kind of the tricky thing about doing live action versions of cartoons.

Sabine's meant to be a skinny ass south east asian, while Tiya Sircar is a shapely poo in the loo.

Ashley looks about the right age to play adult Ahsoka, but I don't know how good she's at in person acting. Plus Rosario's skull shape looks just like Filoni Wars' artstyle.

Then there's Rex. It's going to be kind of surreal to see and hear Temuera play him, and not Dee Bradly Baker, even though DBB was judt doing a Temuera impression to begin with.

I thought Ashley would be too young, but looks like she's only a few years younger than crusty old Rosario. Physically though it's a pretty good casting, but it's going to be hard seeing her as the exact same character and not a different version of her.

No!

How fortunate for you since Dawson isn't playing Ahsoka. She already confirmed she wasn't months ago.

Things like this is where Ahsoka being an alien from a cartoon are advantageous for casting the character for live action. They can literally cast an actress of whatever ethnicity because as long as she's painted orange and they throw on the makeup prosthetics then she's good to go.
>but it's going to be hard seeing her as the exact same character and not a different version of her.
That's probably why they'd more likely cast a young 20something unknown and pull a Ray Park/Sam Witwer Maul with her and just use the unknown for the physical performance and dub her with Eckstein. Because you know there's absolutely no way they'd have Ahsoka and NOT have Eckstein as the voice. She's far too an iconic staple of the character and he's much less inexpensive to write off as a budget concern. And Dave is the kind of guy who'd have the integrity to always bring her back for the character.

It was the DSL that made me think that.

Hate.

>imagine beliving a rumour with no evidence with the actress herself saying its not true

Which actress? Rosario? The only thing I see she's said about it was that it wasn't confirmed YET.

>Ahsoka voiced by Donald Trump
Based?

Why are space and land battles so repetitive in this show?

>DSLs
BASED

And if you read, it says "thisbis typically because a contract hasnt been signed"

Why would you film before signing a contract? That goes against all logic
Its not happening

>Ahsoka suddenly goes on a 12 minute tangent about the Jedi Temple should build a wall and make the Sith pay for it

>ywn feel Ahsoka's plump cock-pillows engulf your dick
