THE WEED OF CRIME BEARS BITTER FRUIT YOU OLD HAG
THE WEED OF CRIME BEARS BITTER FRUIT YOU OLD HAG
Who was in the wrong here?
ABC for only airing 2 episodes of this show
>Hey it’s Ted Danson
How would Randal fare against the SJW march of today?
Leonardo Leonardo was such a great character.
Shit into gold. I can't believe what garbage the source material is by comparison.
>"dude have you ever tried to suck your own dick lmao"
>"dude remember that crazy mix up when your girl cheated on you and those two guys went gay for each other lmao"
>"dude title doesn't dictate behavior, let me go rent a shemale tape lmao"
>based contractor shutting down Randall's retarded headcanon
Is this supposed to be funny?
>Fuck no, me and silent Bob believe in a woman's right to choose
Bruh he's not exactly an alt right icon
He'd be at the marches in the background selling weed to maced protestors.
He'd
admittedly the gum salesman trying to make anyone in the convenience store buy gum instead of cigarrettes and scolding dante for selling them was pretty funny
If you didn't live the culture, you wouldn't get it. It's like saying Breakfast Club or Fast Times at Ridgemont High are bad movies when they're peak examples of teenage life at the time. Clerks captures the dead-end life of the mid-90s.
Yes.
The topic of sucking your own dick wasn't what was funny. It was the absurdist end to the story that the guy died trying to do it. And the punchline is that after saying everyone tries, he still shames Dante when he begrudgingly admits that he has tried.
Of course the humor doesn't read when you simplify it into one part of the gag with no context.
Randall =/= Jay.
Dante hicks is just like you
He loooves grape soda
he knows what its like when the guy in the supermarket wont take your food stamps
or how it feels to wait all month for your welfare checks.
Is it safe?
How the fuck did they get away with it?
This was one of the two episodes that actually aired. THIS AIRED ON NETWORK TV.
>That part in the commentary where Kevin Smith was making fun of Jeff Anderson for not being able to do the "HEEEEYY HOOOO" properly
I'm gonna have to rebuy the dvd so I can listen to all of the commentary tracks again.
Clerks was great, Clerks 2 was fine, Jay and Silent Bob was amazing, everything after that isn't.
>Jay and Silent Bob was amazing
I'm assuming you're talking about Strike Back, and if so, I'm gonna have to disagree with you there. Of his Askewniverse films, J&SBSB is one of his weakest films. Watchable, but still weak. Too slapsticky and without the depth of it's predecessors. Essentially Mallrats, pt 2, but without the outrageously 90s vibes to it.
If you're talking about the other Jay and Bob flick, then I can't comment as I've not seen anything of Smith's past Clerks 2.
People weren't big pussies back then
Strikes Back is a great satire on Hollywood and various movies that were popular at the time. It's not supposed to be Dogma or anything like that. It's just stoners going meta.
>THE SIGN! ON THE BACK! OF THE CAR! SAYS "CRITTERS OF HOLLYWOOOOOOOOD!" YOU DUMB FUCK!
Amazing how accurate this quote still is almost 20 years later.
are any of those ancient porn sites still up? where even did you go for that stuff back then? i can vaguely remember browsing Stile Project as a kid but that's it
>Why are we walking like this?
>are any of those ancient porn sites still up?
If they are, they've probably become industry leaders at this point.
If I wasn’t ip range banned Id post mine on a mega.
>What do you think of my desk? I made it myself. And I have all these pieces left.
>It looks like it was built by a re-re
>Oh yes it does, doesn't it?
>Yeah, and this whole building is in the shape of an L, why? In case you forget your initials?
>THAT was uncalled for.
I love this show so much.
>HEEEEEEY HOOOOO
>HEEEEEEY HOOOOO
>Thank you.
i dislike breakfast club because the qt weird girl got turned into a normie, and i'm less than a fan of fast times because it's on tv all the time.
I only really liked Jay & Silent Bob because I'd seen everything that came before. Out of all Askewniverse stuff I likes Chasing Amy the most since it's really the most relatable film to me on a personal level.
Slightly related but how bad was the last Jay & Silent Bob movie? I meant to watch it but never got around to it.
I bet the crime bears have some pretty good weed
