This has to be the most superfluous character in a show I’ve ever seen
This has to be the most superfluous character in a show I’ve ever seen
I find this conversation to be shallow and pedantic.
Steven is a magic character in love with the human world. She is a human character in love with the magic world. She is Steven's biggest connection to humans outside of Greg, his immediate family. Her experiences with her family mirrors the one's of Pink, and that is why it helps Steven understand his relationship with her helps Steven understand his mother, like its shown metaphorically in Jungle Moon when Steven fuses with her and has that flashback. Also its just sweet to watch a boy and a girl fall in love. With that said, why make anither fucking thread about SU, why are you a faggot? Why dont you kill yourself?
They’re not in love. She never loved him and he ended up learning to move on
That would be Sadie and Lars.
>this meme again
It’s why she rejects him and he leaves forever
That is a retarded interpretation. What makes you say that? She is always shown to enjoy his company. Why would politely declining a teenage marriage proposal change that?
How can she be superflous when breaking her arms make me rock hard?
A polite rejection is still a rejection. She just doesn’t feel the same way.
So, every rejection a married couple makes on the way to their wedding is
...
what
Sad. Some people will do anything to not be alone. No matter how much disparity there is between feelings. You should be glad Steven can now be with someone who really loves him
Ronaldo exists.
Itt: people with a cuck and suffering fetish
Who?
Indeed, shallow and pedantic
Steven is for Lapis
God just shut the fuck up already
Holy shit so much fucking projection
I think than an issue arose when they made her personality into a more aggressive Steven, harming the overall character dynamic of the main cast. I think her role was at it's best when she was still a bit meek and reserved but could be assertive when push came to shove.
just because you dont wanna get married at 17 doesnt mean you dont love someone. jesus you are dense.
It could be anyone, that’s why the ending is open
I know it’s hard to hear but Connverse was never good
It is. Steven was willing to do it and she wasn’t. It’s not a good relationship when you don’t give as much as your partner
I think it's fine. She's not really a main character, so her small character arc as Steven's human companion is adequate.
She starts as a friendless nerd, then she meets Steven and she's amazed with his world but she's still shy and reserved (likes to dance but doesn't want to be seen dancing, etc). She then learns to have fun, becomes more cheerful, and grows a spine and becomes more focused which translates into her becoming a very responsible teenager/young adult with ambitions instead of just a nerdy bookworm.
I don't know I just think it's cute how that shy girl allowed herself to be silly with Steven and eventually learned to open up to other people.
Dude. Marriage is not something to be taken lightly. Steven going for it the way he did was unwise and irresponsible. It was obvious to the viewer that this wasn't the appropriate course of action for him to take at the time in order to further his relationship with Connie.
No, it was just obvious he and Connie wanted different things in life and were incompatible which the show ultimately proves. Marriage is something he wanted in life and something Connie didn’t.
This has to be the most sexiest character in a show I’ve ever seen
You're just wasting your time arguing against them.
>wanted different things in life
Like what? Steven needing some soul searching journey to find his purpose and Connie be already grounded and having a plan for what she wants to do?
I don't see how that throws their relationship out the window.
>were incompatible
Absurd, 2 individuals don't need to be completely identical in their life ambitions to be compatible.
>which the show ultimately proves
That's just inaccurate.
He wanted marriage, she didn’t. It’s very simple. He was willing to give up everything for her, she wasn’t. He leaves at the end because he’s over her. He can now be with someone who’s right for him.
This is literally just meaningless projection
Garbage projecting
Dude, that is not a logical or reasonable the conclusion to draw from a turned town marriage proposal between 2 individuals who weren't even in their 20's yet.
Granted, rejecting a marriage proposal can very well lead to a break up considering how awkward it could be to interact after that, in this case it feel likes a stretch to go that far
