Wonder Woman '77

How does the Wonder Woman tv show hold up? If I have never watched it before is it worth watching?

Yeah dude she's a real live woman
I just watched an episode where she helped some alien kids? It still comes on MeTV with Batman

Our buddies at the DC Universe community forums love it

>diana keeps her identity as ww secret from everyone
>goes somewhere with steve
>trouble happens
>they get separated
>diana spins and becomes ww
>saves the day
>spins back to normal
>rejoins trevor
>day is saved thanks to ww wherever she is
Pretty standard but a decent watch. And don't forget Lynda's milkers.

its campy, don't expect the Hulk TV show and you'll be fine. And yeah, Lynda is pretty smoldering.

I think it's less formulaic than Batman '66 desu. Although Batman can get bonkers with the humor, almost all episodes are about the villains trying to steal jewels or something valuable, then setting up a trap for Batman and Robin, then Batman and Robin escaping and tricking the villains.
Wonder Woman has more different storylines. Your structure only applies to some of them.

Are the 77 comics good?

I watched it for the first time in 2011 and became a fan, it was what made me interested in Wonder Woman. But it's hard to tell if you're gonna like it. It's worth giving a try.

How is Lynda Carter still really attractive? Do I just have a granny fetish and never realized until now?

Episodic as was Batman 66 as said. But still the real Wonder Woman that doesn't kill.
Not like Gadot's Wonder Woman that kills.
Yes

Just go in understanding that it was an intentional throwback to 60's television like. The Avengers and Man from UNCLE and even aspects of Batman, and it's quite enjoyable and charming.

Lyle Waggoner is a super hunk and of course Lynda is a perfect balance between sex symbol and role model, there are a few scenes where I legitimately think she matches Chris Reeves.

The fuck are you on about?

Here's my 3-season encompassing recommendation list.

>tfw you'll never be princess carried by wondy
why even live?

It's pretty good, but it gets a lot better in the second and third season. Season one follows a formula that largely regulates Diana to a plot device, while the other seasons give her more focus and generally have more interesting plots.

>Not including Beauty on Parade
Come on now.

making a shortlist can be difficult

They got an actual whore to play her in the 70s? No wonder she's a joke.

Was the TV show the first time they had Wonder Woman implied to be ageless? I remember the Earth-Two Wonder Woman (who was supposed to be the Golden Age version) actually aged.

Diana has always been immortal, actually.

On Earth-Two, she gave up her immortality in order to marry Steve, but she still aged much slower.

Oh, and Wonder Woman in the Super Friends was also immortal and had been around since 1941.

Earth-2 aged as much as Earth-2 Steve did.
